When Fiona felt that another gaze was on her body, she turned to the source. Strangely, Griffin was walking towards her. His face was still heavily bandaged, but he wasn't in hospital clothes anymore. A strong-looking man was following behind him as if acting like a bodyguard. She waited for him to get to an earshot, but he only tried to smile at her… to which she feigned a smiling response.
"I heard that your sister is here, too. I just thought I can find you here." He greeted her and noticed the forced smile on her lips. However, he didn't make a big deal about it.
Griffin turned to the ICU where the mother was talking with her daughter while they were preparing to transfer her to a recovery room. "The hospital just approved my cousin's request to have me on house rest instead." He gave his gaze back to Fiona. "I'll probably just be back in a few months… so, uhh, take care, I guess."
