News traveled fast… especially in a closely-knit circle of friends and families that often bumped into one another. It was seemingly a normal day for other people, but Fiona was on her way to the hospital with two baskets of fruits. She was walking with her mother and met up with another rather middle-aged woman in the lobby. The three women quickly hit it off as they were not really strangers to begin with.
Fiona's mother went to the ICU ward to watch Tessa, taking one basket with her. Fiona walked the other mother towards another room in the recovery ward, hoping to find someone or wait for someone to come instead. In contrast to the mother's frail figure in a loose beige dress, Fiona was wearing a thick red jacket and loose pants to hide the muscles that she had been very proud of. For today, she didn't want to be known for them.
"Okay, that's right. How about this one?"
