When Montana opened the door, he didn't think he'd see the child he's taking care of… floating from the floor along with every piece of furniture that could be moved. Her eyes were closed, and her hair and her nightdress were spreading around her like she's underwater. She didn't seem to be awake as well.
"...Rosanna…?"
Snap.
Montana's words were like a snap that broke Rosanna's trance. She opened her eyes and realized that she was a meter off the ground. She then felt her body drop from the height, screaming on her way down.
The man swooped in quickly to catch her. Montana then sighed as he let her down. "Are you okay? What's going on? Are you feeling well?"
Rosanna wrapped her arms around his neck and held onto him tightly. However, unlike normal, she didn't cry or even say anything. She only buried her face on the crook of his neck and clutched on Montana's jacket. Montana waited for her to say something but to no avail.
