Useful to him? What did he make it sound like Ethan was a useless angel when most of the Order actually depended on him? Out of all the orphanims in charge of monitoring the Order, Ethan was the most active and hands-on. He was basically one of the secret ingredients of the Order.
However, right now, a little witch of Belphegor actually asked him to say what use did this witch have for him? If that witch wasn't trying to get himself killed, then he was seriously deranged, right?
It's just that Ethan was holding back his first reactions. He had always kept in mind—and Mephisto had always told him—that Noah Rocco was a witch with unlimited resources and unlimited avenues to generate whatever he needed. Magic, friends, enemies… it was simply too easy.
