Piak! The slap resounded in the dining hall, but Noah only closed an eye from her hit. The mother's face continued to contort in anger as if she was not done yet. "Who do you think you are? Not only did you push my daughter, but you even insulted me."
"Heh." Noah only touched the reddened part of his face. "You still haven't told me who gets to punish people for pushing off a gremlin who grabbed my niece first."
"Gremlin?! You dare call my daughter a gremlin?!"
Luca handed the plates to the same usher who seemed to be in charge of them. He reached out to hold Noah's arm as if begging him to stop for now. "Uhm, Mrs. Windsor, let's not escalate things, please. Why don't we take a deep breath and—"
Mrs. Windsor glared at Luca. "Excuse me? You already know who I am and you still talk to me like that? Are they with you? Will you answer for them? To me?!"
Noah only snorted and picked up Rosanna before he left the scene. "She's all yours, Luca."
