A lively conversation could be faintly heard when one entered the mezzanine floor. As it was not a private room, a mixture of chattering from different tables could be heard. Of course, as everyone there seemed to be trying to impress most people, they couldn't be so crude.
The mezzanine floor had an atrium that overlooked the main floor's main centerpiece. Moreover, the tables and the chairs there had this cool black finish, making them look like dim mirrors that reflected the lights coming from the glowing pearls hanging from the ceiling.
Glass dividers were also in place, obscuring the people seated on two sides of the table. It was seemingly private without being stuck in just one room. The design was also conducive to showing off the arrangements done for others to see, especially when wines and flambés were served.
