"Make sure those shields stay up!"
"Don't waver for anything, they must not enter this city!"
"This city stays closed off at all costs!"
Man after man shouted in panic in a high tech control room. This is the capital city of Omnia, The Omnium Guild; a country governed by a council of the highest mages in the world. They are widely renown as the most powerful individuals on the planet. Their influence even directly affects other countries outside of their jurisdiction. They run a powerful military equipped with both technology and magic. A force to not be messed with. This military known as The Ly'Lum. But there were those who only saw such power as nothing but abusive. Those who were outlawed and hunted for hefty rewards. Especially, those few who were seen as the biggest threats to the world. And there's a particular group who fits all these descriptions. A group beyond simple explanation; a group of outlaws they simply call-
"It's them! The Six Guns! They really are trying to get in!"
"What?... They must be insane!"
"Heh, good luck getting past the shield! It surrounds the whole city. You can't even dig underneath it."
"Don't write them off yet, they're the real deal after all..."
"How dangerous could they possibly be against this shield? It's impossible to get through"
"How can you be calm in a time like this? They get through somehow, and not only are we done for, but our very way of life. You will do your best to remember that!"
Meanwhile, outside the city, the Six Guns slowly emerge over the hills, getting an overview of the city. "Are you sure about going through with this? At a time like this even?" Alex said calmly to the man in the front. This man, their leader, couldn't find the proper response to this question. He could only look up and smile.
"We have to, but you all already knew that. Ask stupid questions: Get stupid answers, am I right, Zia?" He said. His name was Siran, and he wasn't human. He possessed a strange aura, but not an evil one.
"Glad to see you finally got the gist of it, Syr-" Zia responded. "And to think I only had to remind you every so often." She spoke in a playfully sarcastic tone.
"Hey!" Rose interjects, "How come you get to speak so casually to the cap'n with all your nicknames and such? I wanna be close friends with the leader too!" She began puffing up her cheeks to form a pitiable pouting face.
"You're all a lot closer to my heart than you can imagine" Siran spoke softly.
"We've been planning on moving the plan along, even taking into account that mishap and such" Holly says unenthusiastically while sitting on the grass, tapping away on her laptop in a seemingly purposeful order. "The calculations of our success were already made, are we going or not?"
"Aren't you the one who said we had exactly zero chances of success though?" Finn said, leaning against a nearby tree, taking it easy like always.
"Aren't you the one I told to mind your own business?" Holly replied. "You're not involved in this."
"So cold..." now Finn begins pouting. "I'm part of the team too, I'm feelin' pretty involved."
"We HAD zero chances" Rose speaks quietly. "But now, we don't have the time to worry about possibilities. We have to worry about the impossibilities right now. Besides, Siran thinks he found their weakness. Are you implying you'd rather keep running away rather than sticking with him? Hm?"
"I thought we agreed on no more stupid questions" Alex says looking back.
"Yeah" Finn says, seemingly cheering up. "You already know I've got cap'n's back all the way!"
"As do we all" Zia says, grabbing Siran's shoulder and nodding. "Just like how he helped all of us, whenever he had the chance to."
"Thanks" Siran says. "Now without further ado." The whole team pulls out very large guns and points them all the same direction. "Guns, let's not keep them waiting any longer!"
".... I just hope what we're doing is right" Siran says softly.
"I know it is" Zia says.
"They just don't know it yet" Alex says while punching the shoulder that Zia isn't holding onto.
Siran nods, and a sudden release of magic causes the ground to quake around them. Although, none of them seem to be bothered by it in the least. Instead, they all load their guns with magic, and prepare for the worst.
"I may not be able to fix my mistake, but I sure as hell will make up for it." Siran says to himself. "Guns! Go!"
