Hey! I decided to write this first because I want to complain.
I never wanted to have a pet. I already have my little brother to take care of and our neighbor's pets were sooooooo annoying.
Oh, I forgot, it's Sean here again. Just in case you thought it's Eli. He's only three so I doubt he can write this.
So about that title. I wanted to complain here about all our neighbor's pets first. Mrs. Chansy has nine cats and two dogs. I think she also has fish, which I heard her telling another neighbor but maybe those were already eaten by the cats. I mean, how do those animals manage to live together?
Anyway, the cats and dogs were really noisy especially the fighting at night. I'm not bothered about fights but at least they should limit the noise in the house like ours, right?
That's not all. I heard you have to walk the dogs everyday and that's what Mrs. Chansy was doing but the dogs were waaayy heavier than her. So you can probably imagine how the walk is. It turns into a run. And when you have food on you, you join in the run.
I know I don't always go out because dad doesn't allow us too. But sometimes, I go home later than usual. Only a few minutes. And the dogs actually doesn't have a usual time they take their walks so I encounter them sometimes.
The cats were worse though especially that bratty-looking white one. I guess it doesn't have a cage and it can go out on it's own so it's always in the park where I walk through to go home.
There were a lot of strays in that park. They're fine and shy so even if some people left some food, they wait for a while to get near. But this other cat always snatch these foods. So it often resulted in a fight. If there is a fight on my way home, it's scary to walk through. If I don't go home right away because of this, I get scolded by my dad. You see my problem.
But the worst that happened to me was when THAT MONSTER took this notebook from me when I was writing while passing my time at the park. And it scratched me too. When I tried to chase it, it fell on the pond. With my notebook! Good thing only half was wet, with most of the written pages dry, and I managed to catch it and the contents were still readable. The one I was writing that time got the most water so I just have to rewrite that entry.
But that's not the end! The pond was near the road so I heard a horn sound while the cat was struggling. It was my dad who was already going home at that time and by chance, he was giving Mrs. Chancy a ride to help with her groceries.
They saw me holding the cat in my hand in the pond while I was getting my notebook and kept it from getting wet. Well, they assumed I'm bullying the cat. I can't really say anything about my notebook since they'll probably read it. So I hid it immediately.
My dad apologized to Mrs. Chancy even though I was not at fault. Mrs. Chancy was even telling dad that this is what happens when kids don't have a mother. As if.
When we were walking home, dad kept telling me to apologize to Mrs. Chancy AND her cat. Of course I apologized and he scolded me again when we got home so it was a little late now while I'm writing this and I still have to rewrite that other one. Maybe when I felt like doing that.
