Chapter 7 - First Grade (2)

Han's POV

YAY! The first day of school! I'm so excited to know a lot of new boys and girls! Maybe I could make a couple of friends! I hope they don't moke about my accent like the last kids! They were really mean to me! But a new city, new life, like daddy, says! Everything is gonna be alright!

Oh, what is this? And that? Oh, what is over there?

I know! I bet I can arrive at the classroom before that fat guy near it! YES! SUCCESS!

Oh, a kid brought a football ball, how odd! But is so fun to play! I think! I only watched from the t.v.

I wish I could talk to him, but they are so many people nearby. I bet they will mock me. I will only look from afar for now!

...

Finally recess!! I will impress the kid with the football ball! LOOK AT ME! I RAN 2 COMPLETE LAPS ON THE RECESS GROUND!

Yes! It worked! I'm so smart!

Ok, so only I have to stay on the line and catch every ball that comes my way?

Great! I will go from like a lion to one coat to another like they were my preys!

Yes, I'm so smart! POUNCE! Catch! POUNCE! Catch! HAHAHAH!

Oh no, the big kid is coming my way!

I will make my fastest dives to one coat to the other so I can catch it!

..

Oh, no... the ball passed the line! I bet he will blame me and he will tell the other kids that if they want to play with him they don't need to be around me! Oh no....not again...

...

David's POV

SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! I made a huge mistake! I'm not in my old body! I can't take body contact like I used to do it in the past. Or future? Anyway, I'm just a 6-year-old kid, I can't match the size of a dude of 10 years old. Stupid!

Shit, stupid, idiot. I kept insulting myself while going to reach the ball past the goal post. While I was going there I notice that Han was still on the ground, and was now crying.

GREAT DAVID! You made a small kid cry, the perfect first day of school.

I quickly went to Han and told him "Dude don't cry! We have to score 2 more times to end the match! You can still play more!"

I made that silly attempt at being funny while he looked at me and said "Are you not going to blame me? I didn't do it on porpoise!"

I quickly shook my head and lightly hit his head "Dude, just do the best of what you can do and everything is gonna be alright!"

He nodded and focused on the task at hand. I also told him that he doesn't need to pounce really quickly to the coats. He only needs to pounce at the ball or the direction the ball is going.

With a new resolve, I arrived at the center of the field. Marcus was there and mocked me "See little kid? I can beat you on this trash sport even without even trying!"

I made a fake smile "Wow! So impressive to beat a little kid!"

When he was furious and about to answer I made my kickoff and passed him but now very quickly with a long pass to myself.

I was quickly in front of the fat kid, he was mumbling something about hamburgers. I made the faint of going right, trying to pass him. He quickly looked to the right and opened his legs changing the direction of his body. So I made the ball pass through between his fat legs.

GOAAAAAAAL!

I quickly made a fist on the air and came running back to the center of the field after getting congratulations from the crowd of kids. Even they were a couple of teachers watching us.

Nice! I have to show off then HAHA!

Fuck, again my kid instinct kicking in. Is a good thing or a bad thing? I have to learn to enjoy the small things like I used to.

I enjoyed the moment and went again to the center of the field and faced Marcus again.

This time he didn't gloat or anything. He was focused on the ball and didn't hear about anything about what I was telling him.

He waited a little while and kicked the ball. He passed me pretty quickly since he has bigger legs. Fuck my small tiny legs, I can't wait to grow up. I tried to steal the ball under his feet but couldn't reach it.

He was near the post goal and was taking the position for shooting, Han was frozen so I shouted "RIGHT!" and Han pounced the right post and caught the ball. He stood up with a big smile and shouted "YES!!" I smiled and made a sign with my hand to make a big pass. He understood and made a big arc pass that made past Marcus. I was already beside the fat guy, but he was dumbly looking at the sky, looking at the ball coming.

I made my biggest jump yet in this life! It was like 15 cm but for a kid my age was like I was flying! Obviously, I'm not on the same stage as Cristiano Ronaldo and his mighty 44 cm vertical jump, but I was just starting!

And while In the air I kicked the ball to one corner of one of the jacket. It was just a straight kick while on the air, with no effect whatsoever. But the fat kid seemed to be frighted about a kick doing a fly kick and stayed root on his place.

So I finally made my second...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

I landed on the ground and made a victory lap but suddenly I watched a blue light on my right wrist. I didn't have time to check while I was surrounded by little kids. Hearing things like:

"You are the best!!! Can you teach me that flying kick???!!"

"WOW! Can you jump to the roof?!"

"I bet you have springs on your shoes like my cousin!"

And stupid things like that. But I said thanks to everyone and came to Marcus.

He was black, but I swear I never saw a black guy turned this red. I hope is not red from anger but embarrassment, maybe both.

Shit, I need to be a good winner.

I went walking to him and extended my hand to him while saying "Good game Marcus, you played really well. Did you played before?"

He grumbly said "Yeah, one of my uncles is a big fan of soccer so I sometimes play on family reunions... Okey, I will keep my promise, but only for this year. Next year I will go the middle school and you are on your own kid."

We shook hands and the kids surrounding me were like crazy. A teacher had to come to calm the excited kids down. After I went to Han and thanked him for his help I went to the bathroom to check the blue notification and I read the following:

******************************

Mission Complete!

Rewards: +1 on all .

*******************************

WTF?! There was a mission and I didn't get the notification of the new mission? What kind of shitty system is like that? So I have to manually check if I have a mission before each game? What a pain in the ass...Well, I need to buy a watch so I don't look so weird for looking at my wrist every time before the match. Maybe it could be my new Kabbalah. Of course, new life new Kabbalah, the last kabbalah didn't work so much for me...or worked? Depends on the side you look at it.

Well let's check my after a month of training and the new reward:

***********************

Niiice, so it seems that 1 per month of intelligent training. Maybe I could get more if I made an intense training with a professional watching me and with the proper nutritious food. But hey, I'm still poor as fuck. Getting this gains just from the veggies from the kind nana and my obstacle course is pretty nice.

I didn't want to hurt my body now that It was growing, so if that means less so be it. I plan to make a long football career, the foundations of the first years are the most important.

Shit, I need to get money ASAP! I need to calm myself, I was poor almost all my past life, a few more months aren't gonna hurt me.

After the cool recess win, we came back to our classroom and got another 2 hours of boring subjects.

The next recess was a cool experience, half of the recess ground was empty, waiting for us little kids.

We quickly went over there and started to throw coats on the ground and even a couple of kids began to draw lines on the floor with stolen chalks from the teachers and we began playing.

It was chaotic as you imagine, no rules, nothing. But it was a cool experience, I had real fun, even practice a little of coaching and dribbling trying to dodge the infinity amounts of little kids.

After a while, bigger kids tried to barge in only to be met with Marcus mean glare and left us alone.

I really had fun my first day at school. What a good way to begin.
