Several minutes later having finally recuperated a small amount of his strength he slowly rose and began to investigate the many rabbit monster corpses and the items that had dropped along with them.
Looking around he found many shiny gold coins scattered around among the several dozen Red Berry Rabbit corpses. Examining one closely he noted their unique design of a golden circular ring surrounding a golden 7 pointed star in the middle.
Going around he quickly collected all the coins finding a total of 53 gold stars which he quickly deposited into his spatial storage for safe keeping.
Stacking the deceased rabbits into a neat pile he hesitated with the last one, examining the point of entry were his [Fire Bullet] had pierced its skull, finding a grooved screw pattern of seared tissue that went clean thru its head preventing any blood loss.
Making a final check of the battlefield for any remaining drops, to his delight he discovered a small rusty iron dagger and a pair of red furry moccasins in some waist high grass near the foot of a tree.
Holding the pair of moccasins with one hand while the dagger was in his other he quickly analyzed them.
"[ANALYZE]!"

Although obviously these were very basic items they were still very welcome thought Salvatore as he immediately bent down to don the pair of red moccasins. When surviving in the wild, one of the most important rules was protecting your feet. They would have the most contact with your environment and allowed you to remain mobile.
Wondering if the moccasins would fit his feet he discovered that as he attempted to put them on they automatically began to change their size in order to fit his feet perfectly. Wiggling his toes he found his new moccasins were both comfortable and flexible, two things that he preferred in his footwear.
Studying the rusted iron dagger closely he determined it was made from a single piece of plain iron. The dark metal handle was a smooth 4 inches long which connected to its blade that was roughly 5 inches long, but appeared dull black with several area's covered in a dark brown rust.
Tapering to a fine point, overall it appeared a decent blade that had lacked proper maintenance for several years.
Although proficient at killing from all ranges, due to his bloodthirsty nature Salvatore preferred close-quarters combat above all other types and specialized with the use of blade type weapons loving their reliability, versatility, and above all else, silent nature when used skillfully.
This is not to say that his skill with other weapons was the slightest bit lacking, in fact the truth was quite the opposite for Salvatore possessed a profound level of skill with all types of weaponry, it's just that his skill with edged weaponry had gone beyond a level of mastery which mortals should be able of reaching, transcending the heretofore thought realm of absolute perfection.
After more than a decade of wielding every type of edged weapon known to man he had discovered a new realm of mastery never before seen by those who claimed complete mastery of an edged weapon, and yet despite this he still felt he had only barely begun to touch the doorway of this unknown realm.
Having now acquired his first physical weapon, and for it to be a dagger, was a good omen Salvatore strongly felt, as he promptly knelt on one knee offering a prayer unto GOD in thanks.
"In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti, AMEN."
Finishing his prayer with his right hand forming the cross upon his chest he rose, pausing for a moment in silent reverence before returning to the present to deal with his kills.
Having spent a large part of his life in the wild, Salvatore had enjoyed many a cold night by the fire eating rabbit stew along with barbecued rabbit. Now having several dozen rabbits he had acquired a large amount of meat.
Although meat was delicious, looking around the forest he quickly discovered several different fruit trees and bush showing that the valley's forest was overflowing with various forms of wild grown fruits and berries.
Grasping a limp rabbit by the head, he proceeded to skin it in a methodical and skillful manner learned from skinning many animals throughout the years.
Grasping the rusty dagger firmly with his right hand he began making a straight circular incision around the rabbits knees joints, then a U cut around its groin connecting to each incision.
Peeling off the U flap he pulled the skin down to the rabbits waist, then made a circular cut around both its elbows joints and pulled the skin down further slipping it off like a fur shirt from the rabbits arms.
Finally with the fur pelt around its neck he sliced the head off in one smooth clean movement. With the rabbit skinned he cleaned and deboned it making it ready to cook.
