Lilith in a crying voice made the "first calls" which were to Seth's relatives, close friends, Reen and the board of directors of the sad news. Afterwards, when Seth's relatives arrived she used the excuse of her being too devastated and continued to cry as a way to push the funeral rites to them.
They, thinking that she was truly too grieved to do it did the funeral rites instead. They called a funeral director to help them make arrangements to transfer the body from the hospital to the funeral home.
Afterwards when the arrangements were finalized and agreed upon, they decided he will be buried instead of being cremated. They settled the ceremony casket and place of burial. After the practiced days of him staying at the funeral home it was time for his funeral.
The casket was transported to the cemetery, upon arrival at the cemetery the casket was placed on top of the place that it will be buried in wherein he will finally rest, the ceremony then started.
The pallbearers [2] were seated as the pastor and participants came, the pastor then called them in worship.
Finally, the pastor did a short invocation to officially start the ceremony.
Lilith who was Seth's wife made an obituary/eulogy crying along with some of Seth's relatives. Some people started crying while others had stoic expressions on their faces.
A short message was then given by Charles, Seth's oldest brother then the pastor did his benediction afterwards.
When the speeches and proper rites were done, the casket was slowly lowered down the ground. Lilith this time cried even harder with some other women who were present. The husbands of some of these ladies comforted them while some patted them at the back. Rose was comforting the devastated Lilith having tears on her eyes as well.
Reen throughout this service was accompanied by Wisteria and Hue. Throughout this, she never cried or showed any negative emotions.
People around them especially Lilith's friends could not help but do snide comments.
"Look at the ungrateful imp, even when his blooded father died she did not even shed a single tear."
Hearing this, Wisteria could not help but frown at the skimpy dressed woman behind them. Despite knowing they were ignorant people she could not help but her react this way.
However knowing it was inappropriate to talk to such stupid and naive people she suppressed her anger and stared at the casket once more.
Hue was also in a similar situation while Reen was staring straight at the coffin oblivious to her surroundings.
Music was playing at the background when the Pastor had finally ended his speech and the simple funeral service was near its end.

When it was Reen's turn, she stood looking at the coffin while complex emotions passed through her heart.
