Chapter 153 - Conditions 01

Knowing this as well, Reen could not help but sweat drop as she believes he would surely decline this unfair transaction. She could actually ask other companies who had similar dealings and background with them but as CPJ's was the most influential and easiest to talk to since he knew the company's CEO, she tried her luck with him first.

"It seems I need to use my identity as Crimson to make this deal through." She resigned to her faith.

If she tried to make a deal with other companies she had to go as Crimson because no one would even meet up with her if she went as Reen just like the way the receptionist and security personnel treated her previously as she would truly be a small dog, tall weeds [1] then.

"I guess this is not poss-" Before she could say her piece Uoron interrupted her with the wave of his hand

"I'm not saying we can't collaborate…"

"Really?" Reen animatedly said with sparkling eyes but remembering the situation she was in she revered back into her expressionless self.

Uoron could not help but chuckle which he disguised as a cough seeing the serious way she was trying to be.

"My porcupine is so cute." He thought to himself

"Sure, but I have two conditions." He said

Slightly nervous by what conditions he was going to ask but deciding to hear them out first.

"What specifically are the conditions? As long as we are able to fulfill it without harming ourselves we can fulfill any condition you desire."

As Reen went alone here she addressed herself as "we" because she represented the decision of the organization. This authority was only through Hue, Wisteria and Mirly which excludes the people under them.

"First is, I want to know your involvement into this industry and why you know of my involvement in it." She flinched at his sharp tone.

It was actually a heavily guarded secret that Reen was involve in the underground industry besides Mirly, Hue, Wisteria and a few trustworthy men on their side.

The secrecy was to the extent that no matter how hard you try to investigate or who you sent to investigate about the matter. The person sent would mysteriously disappear leading you to a dead end.

Even if people saw and knew Reen was Hue and Wisteria's adopted daughter they gave the idea that this daughter of theirs was in the dark [1] about this other identity. The people who wanted to use her to lure or even bridge connections with Hue and Wisteria would not dare to act upon their desires despite knowing her Identity.

[1] In a state of ignorance about something.
