"Who frequently goes to such places...? Or invites their friends, family or love ones their...?"
Finally realizing this point she buried her face in Veo's chest while he patted her head in consolation. She looked up at him and glared.
"Why didn't you say anything then. Now I've been embarrassed greatly." She buried her face again on his chest wanting to hide in embarrassment. Veo was dumfounded,
"Shouldn't you have known this ever since knowing the rumour started at such a big party where people there often spoke in hidden words?"
He didn't say anything because he was waiting for her to realize it herself. He shook his head and continued to pat this silly naive girl.
"D*mn that old man, I'll surely give him a piece of my mind when I see him next time!" he cursed loudly
At a faraway police headquarters an old stern man sneezed loudly.
"General, are you alright?!" his assistant asked in obvious concern which the general glared in return shutting him up.
Contrary to how Bill and his friends knew his father, he was actually a stern and strict man in front of his subordinates.
Of course all of them knew inside the room (except for Reen, the nurse and doctor) he wouldn't be able to do that. The doctor and nurse wisely kept to themselves but couldn't help but a chuckle escape from their lips hearing and understanding the gist of the story.
Cookie on the other hand was staring outside the window oblivious to the commotion inside the room, if it was not for her earlier reaction and her ears turning into pinkish color people looking at this scene would surely think she was unaffected.
The doctor coughed and started to examined Reen. Seeing this warm exchanged Reen couldn't help but gently smile at them with obvious humor flitting in her eyes.
This smile gained the astonishment from all of them especially Claire. Claire and Cookie hearing the doctor's cough signed in relief as the embarrassing atmosphere disappeared but then was greeted by this striking smile.
You can't really blame their reactions as they first saw her looking like a drowned cat. When she was changed into her hospital gown though she looks more presentable, they couldn't imagine her smile to be so sweet and gentle that could melt one's heart. Claire frowned realizing this feeling she got from her smile seemed so familiar.
"He" frowned seeing this and glared at the obvious admiration from the people inside the room turning the temperature inside a few degrees lower. They unconsciously shivered.
"There doesn't seem to be any obvious sign of relapse or injuries. All you need to do is rest for a few days." The doctor said reassuringly while putting back his stethoscope on his neck. Hearing this evaluation,
"Hmm...? Then what about her puking blood then fainting incident?" "He" asked sceptically.
