Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Learning Martial Arts

As soon as Shallot came out of the house, they went a bit away from the home to be free and have enough space to fight, and they got ready in their stances.

Shallot used the Goku stance of having one hand curved and a fist near the waist.

While Williams had a stance that Shallot had never seen before. It was a stance in which both his hands were opened and straight like a knife. One hand was near his face, and the other was near his waist.

Then they began. At first, Shallot gave Williams a cold gaze. It gave out a certain amount of killing intent, which Williams noticed.

He was taken aback as his mind started to wonder how a child who was 5 years of age could give off killing intent.

As soon as Shallot saw Williams's mind thinking something and wandering off.

Shallot shot a powerful punch filled with Ki towards Williams's stomach, which Williams dodged with great difficulty as he was not paying attention to the fight.

Williams then gave a forceful thrust with the foot (a blow on the head), but Shallot was quick enough to get a hold of his leg before it hit his head.

Shallot then tried to twist Williams's leg, but William just made a backflip away from Shallot.

Shallot sprinted towards Williams with a fist.

As Williams dodged the punch by moving his body sideways, he ran into a tree, hit his head on the tree, and fell down on the ground.

Williams laughed at Shallot and said the first rule of martial arts is never to rush toward the opponent with an empty mind and always have a second plan if the first one fails.

As Williams was talking to Shallot and laughing at him, Shallot had already recovered and got up in an instant and tried to punch Williams in the face.

Williams blocked it quickly and told Shallot the second rule of martial arts never to let your guard down.

Williams suggested resting for a while if the young master was tired and then sat down.

Shallot relaxed his body, and after some time passed, Shallot fully refreshed again and asked Williams to spar with him.

Williams got up and stood there without any stance.

Then Shallot rushed him with a punch that Williams dodged by moving his neck, to which Shallot counter-backed by jumping and landing his elbow on Williams's face.

Williams blocked with his hand, and as soon as Shallot's feet were on the ground, Shallot through a jab towards Williams's chest.

William grabbed Shallot's fist with his hands and pressed it hard, and Shallot quickly moved his right hand toward himself.

Shallot noticed that Williams was not attacking back.

He told Williams to use his full strength and not let a thread of his power go waste and told Williams to come at him with his entire force.

Shallot then jumped and threw a kick at Williams's face, which Williams dodged with ease.

Then punched Shallot in the stomach, and Shallot went flying away and hit a tree and cuffed out blood, and then William took Shallot inside the house and told the maid to help Shallot out.

Williams then headed outside and purchased some medicine from outside that was used to cure internal bleeding of organs. After giving the treatment, the maid returned and reported to Zack about this incident.

Zack knew this would be the outcome, but this did not matter to him. There had already been many pills that could heal a person if injured by magic or martial arts.

Even Shallot, who rested on the bed, knew about this as he knew that in this world, herbs were abundant, and so were medicine.

He even knew that the technology of this world was so advanced that it could cure cancer within seconds.

Shallot's condition had become entirely normal.

Now, Williams was officially appointed Shallot's teacher and was supposed to guide Shallot in his training and teach him techniques to strengthen one's body.

After complete recovery, when Williams met with Shallot, he felt as though Shallot had become more robust.

He even felt he might have made a mistake when he sensed Shallot's energy.

After recovering entirely in 2 days, Shallot did his morning training, which Williams did not witness.

His reporting time to Shallot's house was 9 am after Shallot had eaten breakfast.

After breakfast, Shallot headed towards his room, where he removed the scouter from its bag.

Shallot felt he had become stronger than before and saw his power level was 50 from 35. It was quite a significant increase.

When Williams came to Shallot's house and saw Shallot, they exchanged greetings after Williams came inside, sat down, and became comfortable.

As Shallot became more powerful, his sense of Ki also increased.

Shallot noticed that Williams was giving off more Ki energy than before.

Forcing him to ask how much power Williams held back during their fight, Williams was not surprised. After all, this boy of age 5 knew about many things.

Williams responded, "I used 50 percent of my strength while fighting against you. If I had used my full power, the young master could have died."

Then Shallot wanted to know how powerful a single punch with full power was and told Williams to go outside and wait for him. Shallot headed towards his room, where he took a bag out of a drawer, opened it, removed the scouter, wore it, turned it invisible, and headed outside.

Shallot then told Williams to use his full power and to punch in the air, and Williams did as he was told to do and did a punch in the air with his full strength.

Shallot found Williams's power level to rival master Roshi's power and was a whopping 140.

When they returned inside, Shallot remembered that Williams had mentioned a world tournament.

He could attend after turning 15 and started to enquire about it and asked many questions, which Williams answered.

Williams said that the World Martial Arts Tournament happens once every ten years and lasts for an entire year.

To participate, you have to enroll for the tournament via an enrollment shop that opens 2 years before the tournament starts, as many people eagerly enroll.

Williams also went on to say that he was indeed ranked 10 million out of 15 million.

He also said that this tournament happened recently around a year ago and that he worked here as a servant as he was appointed by the Martial Arts federation to work there.

As Shallot heard this, he gasped. He had never even thought of the possibility.

As Williams saw the reaction on Shallot's face, he said Yes, because you feel the tournament is a method of creating employment and a chance to work for the government with many perks.

Then Shallot asked about what the different rankings get after the tournament, about the rewards and perks they receive, and who won the tournament goes to work for which kingdom.

As Williams was going to tell Shallot about the structure and the functioning of the Martial Arts tournament and the perks and reward system placed by the government, the maid came inside and whispered into Shallot's ears.

The maid whispered that a man with a suitcase was outside and requested a meeting with the young master and told the maid to tell the young master that his name was Alex.

As soon as Shallot heard this name, he was pretty happy.

Shallot then told Williams that they shall talk later and that he could return to his grandparent's house.

Discuss the World Martial Arts Tournament in detail later, and that Williams could help him in training for the tournament.

Williams was astonished as Young Master had been so interested in listening to the Martial Arts Tournament details just a minute ago.

Now all of a sudden, he was disinterested in what Williams had to say while heading back. Williams saw a man with a suitcase going inside.

As soon as Alex came inside and sat down, he opened the suitcase and showed the young master that he had created the blueprints.

He then took out a small box inside the briefcase, opened it, and showed Shallot a prototype.

He then told Shallot that the prototype ring could change one's gravity twice and that it was not fully functional yet and had a time limit.

He also told Shallot that the materials required were relatively cheap.

The prototype cost him only 1 silver to make. Which, of course, included the cost of the ring.
