Over 3 Years had passed.
I was now 3 years and 9 months old. I had learned a lot about this world.
First of all, I lived on a continent. Not on a planet, but a continent as in a large landmass floating in empty space, this continent was called Euwei.
Despite being many many times larger than Earth, Euwei had similiar gravity. According to the legends, this was because Euwei was created by a godly being. This being had set up a formation to lower the gravity for life to thrive.
Some believed that even the sun was created by that God.
I had found out that I lived in a place called Azuno City. It was massive, relative to the cities on Earth. However, on Euwei, it was merely a small town.
With a size of 20,000 Square Kilometers, and a population of 200,000,000. This place was lined up with grand skyscrapers, which were up to 1500 Meters tall. In the Alteridge Empire, Azuno was merely one of countless such towns.
The people of Euwei worked nonstop. In this world, strength meant everything. Strength could literally buy you happiness. Thus, the work ethic was crazy, people of every age would train almost as much as possible.
In Azuno, there were massive academies. They would train you if you passed the selection exam, but in exchange for the training you would receive, they would collect a debt. The student of the academy, would either have to pay back the debt after graduation, or they would work for the academy until they could.
My older sister Kaitlyn, who had just turned 15 was very talented, specifically she was measured to have a talent grade of 40. If everything went smoothly, she was guaranteed to reach the 5th stage of the Heavenly Mortal realm. (Check Auxiliary Chapter).
For comparison, the average person only had a Talent Grade of 15.
Apparently I also had an adopted brother, he was named James Blackfire. My grandparents had found him abandoned in the forest during a hunting mission. They pitied his fate, thus they adopted him. He turned 25 years old and was the definition of overpowered.
James was a 70th Grade Talent. He was guaranteed to become an 8th Stage. The pride and joy of the Blackfire Family. James hadn't visited in the past 3 years, he was busy training in the academy with his master. However, that was about to change, he would be coming to visit in about a week.
Over the years I had trained up my skills to a much higher level. I opened my eyes and stopped collecting energy. I checked the menu:

I was quite satisfied with my improvements. Now my rate of energy absorption was many times faster.
I had tried out the Demonic Transmutation but kept the power multiplier at x1.5. 3 years ago, I could barely handle that, I had actually almost lost all control, but I had enough to deactivate it.
That was when my Demonic Transmutation was only level 3. Now when I activated it, I could easily hold out with a x4 multiplication for a good hour or so, with minimal changes to my appearance. If I went any further, though, I would start growing enormous muscles and strange horns would start to protrude from my head.
With my Unyielding Mind skill I had controlled my clone many times to fight strange monsters in the wilderness outside of the city. However, 2 weeks ago, I met a monster that was essentially a tiger but was 3x bigger and had white fur. It was incredibly powerful and ripped my clone to shreds.
That experience was scarring, because it felt like I was the one being ripped to shreds. After that happened, my clone's soul returned to my "ring", it was more of a mark though, so I called it a Devil Mark. And I also had received all the Energy Points my clone had collected in it's Devil Mark over the years.
As a baby, I was taken care of by my mother. But when I turned 1, my mother told me that she would have to spend more time training. Thus, I was taken care of by Kaitlyn for most of my life, even though she was only 15, she looked much older, around 18.
I called her noona, because I was from Korea in my past life, I found it awkward to call her by her name, as was encouraged in this culture. My family just assumed I made up the word as a baby.
After checking my status, I stood up and walked out of my room. I figured people in this world matured faster physically, because even though I was 3 I looked like a 6 year old from Earth and my sister looked 18 when she was truly 15.
I walked up to my sisters room, and knocked. A few seconds later she opened the door "Hey buddy, do you need something?" She asked.
I ran into her room and laid down on the bed. "Nope, I just wanted to watch t.v in my sweet Noona's room." I said in a cute voice as I shone a little grin.
Kaitlyn giggled, walked up to me and pinched my cheek, she bent over and gave me a kiss on the same cheek, then she stood straight and said "Simon, I'm sorry but I have to train right now, the academy entrance exam is in 3 years, I don't have much time left. This entrance exam could determine my future."
"You know, grandpa and grandma decided that they would start your training a little earlier than normal. In two months, grandpa will give you a cultivation manual, and you'll be tested for your talent." She continued.
"Ahh, Noona it's going to be fine. it's not like I can do anything about that anyways, so for now I'm watching t.v." I replied.
"Well alright then, I just wanted you to know that. I'll be in my training room, just knock if you need me, kay?"
"Kay." I replied.
Right before she left, I made my scouter measure her power level once again.
Kaitlyn: Power Level (760)
Impressive, but I had already had some idea of her strength. She could probably easily lift a car from Earth. Not to mention her speed and techniques. Truly though, her rate of improvement was terrifying.
Only a month ago her power level was 720, this wasn't any small amount of improvement. My scouter manual told me that a fit male from Earth only had a power level of 10. This meant that in only a month she gained the strength of four fit males.
I turned on the t.v and saw that there was a livestream of a pop concert played by a girl group. I admired them a lot, for many reasons. Mainly because they were talented at nearly everything but also because they were the most beautiful girls I had ever laid my eyes on.
But, I couldn't help but notice how much the entertainment industry thrived in this city, I guess everyone had to blow off steam once in a while, this effect was magnified when the entire city worked hard all day.
This concert was being watched by 10's of millions of people, this girl group "Black Diamond" was one of the most popular in Azuro City, thus they received incredible attention.
