In the end, Poe ended up getting most of the magic stones. Lucia also backed him up by saying Poe was the one who helped finish it off in the first place. Luckily, everyone was fine with it because there was one left for each of them anyway.
Poe got 4 magic stones, 2 for intelligence, 1 for wisdom and 1 for agility. Lucia and Ivy had already used their magic stones for tier 1 and could not use theirs, so they gave them to Poe. Ending up with 8 magic stones, Poe was all smile while he absorbed all of them.
[Gained + 3 INT + 2 WIS + 2 AGI + 1 VIT: from absorbing 8 magic stones at tier 1]
Seeing the increase in status, Poe was all smiles as he jumped happily around the place.
Lucia watched on Poe's antics with an amused smile on her face. Ivy on the other hand was just about to say something when a voice drifted over from afar.
"IVY, HOW IS THE LITTLE ONE DOING?"
The voice drifting over from afar or more like the shout echoing throughout the entire area. Revealed itself to be from the giant man from before, who helped Ivy defend against the giant worm.
"Poe is alright! However, I can't really say the same about you; you took quite a beating from the worm back there."
"HAHA, IT WAS NOTHING!"
The man bellowed, as he burst into a laughter, Poe was once again checking him with inspect just to make sure the giant really was human and unsurprisingly he was indeed still human, just one level higher than before.
Looking around, Poe discovered that Ivy had gone up one level, Lucia had even gone up two compared to last time he checked.
Other than that, Poe also found out that after he passed out, Ivy and the giant had killed off the almost dead worm. After that, Ivy was amazed at how strong the giant was and requested a fight.
The giant refused in the start because they had just fought the giant worm and ended up agreeing to have a duel after they had rested. Apparently, the giant man's name was Hagan.
With a question mark showing above his head, Poe asked why his name sounded so different compared to the once he heard before. Ignoring that his own name was quite weird as well.
Hearing Poe, Lucia and Ivy wore a somewhat questioning look as well, as they looked towards Hagan with curiosity.
"HAHA, you are indeed right my name is a bit different compared to people from around here. I am from a southern kingdom in the south our names are indeed a little compared to the kingdoms around here. My name mean strong defense, I got the name because I have a strong defense."
As Hagan finished talking, he looked a little proud because of his name in the end and Poe did not really doubt that Hagan had a strong defense after seeing him fighting the giant worm. He was literally wearing armor from head to toe with a giant shield on his side.
Poe was just happy that he was not talking as loudly as before.
"Southern kingdom?"
Poe asked while looking questioningly towards Hagan once again.
"The southern kingdoms are in the south, while eastern kingdoms are in the east, northern kingdoms in the north and western kingdoms in the west. As the Magic Empire of floating clouds is an empire, it have several kingdoms under it, both southern and eastern, we are in the eastern part of the empire right now therefore Hagans name sounds a little foreign."
Lucia was the one, who stepped up and explained to Poe about the kingdoms, Poe also found out that the Magic Empire of floating clouds was much bigger than he had first thought it was.
"THAT IS INDEED RIGHT! I traveled from the southern part of the empire, because I heard that there was such a wonderful training ground with a low-level time tunnel in it. Well normally, I would never get the chance to get here, but there is a tournament each year in the warrior guild to choose some people to travel to rare dungeons or tunnels, I ended up at the overall rank of 4978 and was lucky enough to get a teleportation circle all the way out here. After all the cost of such a long distance teleportation circle is quite a lot."
Hagan said as he stood proudly and looked at the group.
"Rank 4978? Is that good… I mean there is almost 5000 people ahead of him…"
Poe said while throwing Hagan a doubting look, thinking why he was proud to have ranked so low.
"To be ranked in top 5000 is actually quite good, considering that there is several millions of people participating in the tournament each year."
"INDEED!"
Hearing this Poe looked at Hagan with some admiration for him; to have a ranking at top 5000 out of several millions of people was indeed something to be proud of, Hagan also looked a bit more proud hearing Lucia's explanation.
"Does the mage guild also have a yearly tournament?"
Poe asked, as he looked at Lucia again, if the warrior guild had a yearly tournament, why would the mage guild not have one?
"Yes, it does. The mage guilds tourna-
"The mage guild… does not have a yearly tournament."
As Lucia was about to explain, Ivy who was standing at the side interrupted her with a slightly saddened expression on her face.
"That… Is not a tournament… Mages should be fighting more, why are they so damn peaceful? Damnable mage guild!"
Hearing Ivy and seeing her turning increasingly depressed, Lucia decided not to talk about the mage guilds tournament in front of her.
Poe also saw how depressed Ivy suddenly and got more and more interested in the tournament that the mage guild held, but it looked like he would have to wait for another time before finding out about it, as Ivy was turning more and more depressed for some reason.
