In front of the café, Poe came to a standstill. Looking up, he could not help but start admiring the beautiful decorations that covered the building in front of him.
Flowers in all sorts of colors was scattered everywhere around the building, grouped with the flower decorations of the café really ended up painting a beautiful scene.
Poe even found himself questioning the reason why such a beautiful café would be here of all places.
"Beautiful isn't it?"
Lucia asked Poe while looking towards the flowers by the side of the café.
"Yes, but why would it be down here of all places?"
Poe asked Lucia, as he looked towards the café with growing curiosity.
"The mage guild mostly have people who prefer to relax and enjoying relaxing in the morning while being in a relaxing environment like this café, which is the main reason. The other reason is that a certain guild master wanted a café close to all guild training grounds and guilds, she really liked sitting and relaxing at a café in the morning according to rumors…"
Lucia said, as she heaved a heavy sigh while looking towards the café in front of them.
"So, a guild master wanted a place to relax and eat breakfast when she woke up…?"
Poe asked disbelievingly while looking towards Lucia, who only returned a strange smile.
"Well… Yes, but it's not like having a café close by is a bad thing…"
Lucia said as she made her way towards the café together with Ivy.
Poe cast one last look towards the flowers in front of the café, before following Lucia and Ivy inside.
Inside the café, Poe, Lucia and Ivy got showed to a table by a waitress. Getting to the table the first thing Poe noticed was the menu card, so without waiting any further, Poe took the menu and started considering what to get. Well not that he knew what most of the things on the menu were…
After looking over the menu for a while, Poe ended up choosing the same as Ivy, it sounded good…
Lucia got eggs and toast, while Poe and Ivy got something called pancakes…
Poe really wondered what it was, but Lucia and Ivy said that it was great, so Poe decided to trust Lucia and try it out.
Waiting for a few minutes the food finally arrived. What Lucia got was sunny side eggs with what looked like toast and butter. What arrived in front of Poe and Ivy on the other hand looked, to Poe's meaning, more like a thin and round cake of some sort, just without all the stuff you normally see on a cake.
Instead of what you would normally put on a cake, something called maple syrup and forest berries were on top of it. From what Ivy said, maple syrup tasted great and it was supposedly normal to put it on a pancake, so with the berries that felt more like decorations to Poe.
Now, with no further questions to ask, Poe decided it was time to dig in and the next moment could be described as one of, if not the best moment in Poe's life.
*nom, nom, nom*
Poe started eating while ignoring everything around him, only focused on the pancakes in front of him. The dazzling syrup, the tasty forest berries and of course the pancakes themselves.
*drool*
Poe, who stopped to think about the tasty pancakes for a moment ended up not being able to control himself, as he soon returned to devouring the pancakes.
Ivy, who was supposed to have started eating, seemed like she had given up on it and was just starring at Poe with creepy grin on her face, Poe did of course not notice this, as he continued eating his pancakes.
Then there was Lucia, who more or less could not help but let out a sigh while looking at her useless big sister grinning at Poe.
Like that, the breakfast soon ended, Poe ended up getting more than one order, to no one's surprise…
"Is that all?"
A cute waitress, who had cat ears and tail came and asked them.

Yes, some humans have those. From what Poe read, the humans with animal traits were supposed to be almost 100 % warriors, hunters, rouges and so on. The reason for this would be how high their agility and strength is compared to normal humans, but also their lack of talent for magic that ended up forcing them towards the warrior path. One who was a mage like the waitress in front of them could be called quite rare.
"Yes, that is all. How much is it?"
Lucia asked, as she send a friendly smile towards the waitress.
"hmm… let me see. 4 orders of pancakes with syrup and berries that is 35 copper each, 1 order of sunny side eggs and toast, that is 25 copper… The total is 1 silver and 65 copper."
The waitress said as she returned Lucia's smile.
"Ah, okay! 2 seconds!"
Lucia said, as she took out some coins and handed them to the waitress.
After having paid, both Poe and Ivy turned to leave with Lucia following behind them.
"Come again~"
The waitress said just as they were about to leave the café.
Having left the Café, Poe, Lucia and Ivy soon found themselves walking around town.
"So… What are you going to do now Poe?"
Lucia asked while looking towards Poe.
"Go hunt monsters to level up? I guess?"
Poe answered Lucia, while tilting his head slightly to the side.
"C-cute~"
A certain someone made a comment from behind, but was kindly ignored by Poe and Lucia.
"Then how about we hunt monsters together!"
Lucia said, as she looked expectantly towards Poe, who ended up sending a glance at a certain someone.
"I-it's okay, she won't d-do anything!"
Lucia said to Poe, not really believing it herself.
"F-fine, but you will keep 'that' under control!"
Poe said, as he pointed towards Ivy walking behind them.
"Yay!"
A certain someone was really happy with the conclusion they came to…
