'What if I can't control the evolved Zombies anymore?'
'How do I even control the 'normal' Zombies?'
'Is it an innate ability due to me being a Zombie?'
'Do I control them with my soul or...mentally?'
"Haa…" Aurav sighed as he shook his head. He didn't have the answer to any of these questions.
Although he could easily ask the Game Eye but he was uncomfortable with the fact that it was an object which he had no control over.
If he became overly dependant on it then who would he cry to if one day it mysteriously disappeared just like its appearance.
If it was sentient in some way then what if it wanted to manipulate him in some way?
Although, the Game Eye said that its was to be a bio-support device but that was what it said...
It could have have lied. Even a three year old can lie much less an object which yields such unimaginable prowess.
Aurav didn't want to shoot himself in the foot by overly relying on it but he also didn't want to straight up ignore it. The potential benefits it offered were priceless.
"No...no...no...I shouldn't think of the potential benefits it can offer instead, I need to focus on the true benefits and resources!"
"The benefits and resources that I have. The ones which are in my grasp. The ones which I can utilize!"
Aurav said with a firm look in his eyes but tears started to flow out of his eyes as he thought:
'I still need to ask whether I can control the evolved zombies...'
'Haa...Game Eye,will I be able to control them after they evolve?'
Seeing this Aurav pressed 'Yes' allowing the four Zombies to evolve. Four distinct thuds echoed as four Zombie collapsed. Aurav commanded all of his subordinates to move to the opposite side. The four Zombies who were evolving didn't respond. They were just lying there.
Two of them were women while one of them was a man in a military uniform. The fourth one was a little girl. As Aurav looked at her felt something odd. She somehow seemed different.
Aurav walked up to her and instinctively grabbed her hand.
Hot. The temperature was way too high. Zombies are usually very cold due to their special characteristics but this girl was burning up.
'Well...whatever it is I'll find out when they wake up…'
Aurav commanded his subordinates to pick up Saira and her head of course and the four evolving Zombies.
The sun was setting. It would be night time soon. Although Zombies can see in the dark Aurav didn't want to risk it and suffer another attack from some nocturnal beast. He would spend the night in the train and set out tomorrow as soon as he settled everything.
The metal creaked as Aurav stepped into the train carriage. He ordered his subordinates to dump the four evolving zombies in the same carriage.
As for Saira he set her down gently on a train seat while he put her head in her lap. He found himself a comfortable spot as he sat down.
His subordinates were surrounding the carriage attentively. Aurav rubbed his chin as he addressed the Game Eye:
'How am I able to control Zombies?'
<1. Due To Your Racial Talent: [Zombie Control]>
<2. Due To The High Strength Of Your Soul Obtained From The [Soul Seal]>
'Hmm...Alright…'
'What other racial talents do I have?'
'Okay…' As Aurav opened the talents section from the main interface a list appeared in front of him:
<
…
…
…
There was a long list in front of Aurav's eyes but he could only view two of them. As he opened the innate section it was blank. Perhaps,it was due to the fact that he was a normal human being prior to his transformation.
He opened the Racial section and there were a few talents present:
<<
<
<
"Shit...I'm OP!"
Aurav resisted the urge to get up and do a couple of backflips. These Racial Talents were awesome!
"Hmm….it seems like i'm forgetting something...the reward!"
He was referring to the reward he had gotten for defeating the fireball dog. Aurav went back to the main interface and opened the rewards section. Its icon was blinking repeatedly.
He had gotten 500 credits and a lottery ticket. Including, the previous 2280 credits which were left after he had purchased the Maid costume for Saira his total wealth was 2780 credits now.
'Ahh...Saira…' Aurav glanced at her while a slight frown was on his face. He shook his head as he thought:
'It's not like I had feelings for her…'
'She was just sex…'
'Yeah,just sex…'
'I avenged her...that's more than enough…'
'Yeah,more than enough…'
He turned his attention towards the lottery ticket.
'Where's the lottery machine?'
