Emile wanted the item. Nimble Rod also wanted the item. They rolled for the item to keep it fair.
Emile won with a 99. Nimble Rod rolled an 18.
Emile had received his Purple Diamond ranked item. This item surpassed all the other items on the leaderboard.
It shocked player throughout the word once more. This revelation shocked even the developers of the game.
The developers hadn't expected someone to get such a high ranking item so early in the game.
They checked the codes to make sure the supercomputer didn't break or glitch out. To their surprise, the computer was functioning without a problem.
They researched about the player who received the item. It was the illusive Mystical Flame who always seemed to be ahead of all the players. They figured out that Mystical Flame killed a King ranked monster.
The researchers noticed a problem. The game didn't make an announcement about slaying the first King Ranked monster.
These developers secretly changed some things around to create an announcement for Emile's feat.
[Congratulations use Mystical Flame and Nimble Rod have slain the first King Ranked Monster]
These developers hoped that Emile and Nimble Rod wouldn't expose them for giving the announcement so late.
Emiel and Nimble Rod didn't worry about the late announcement. They thought that the game was waiting for them to check all the items before giving the announcement.
Emile didn't receive a book this time since Nimble Rod was in his party and contributed towards the fight. These reasons caused him to not get another book.
"I got a world announcement!" Nimble Rod said as he paced around. He was facing excitement over and over again which wasn't a good thing.
"Nice," Emile said with a laugh. These world announcements didn't faze him anymore since he received many of them throughout the past week.
Emile's fame increased by 5,000 due to the world announcements. He had 22,000 fame.
They checked around the cave to look for other items. They didn't find anything else. Emile and Nimble Rod walked out of the cave.
Emile stretched his arms out after walking out. The cave wasn't dark due to the ice reflecting the light inside.
Facing the sun on top of a mountain was a beautiful moment. The sun burned into their eyes as they started out below them.
The village could be seen from the top.
"Do you want to go visit the top of the mountain?" Emile asked with a peaceful tone.
"Yeah," Nimble Rod said.
They climbed to the true top of the mountain and enjoyed a moment together.
"I want our entire party to see this view," Emile said.
"Yep," Nimble Rod replied.
"Let's promise to keep trying our best from now on," Emile said as he moved his fist towards NImble Rod.
Nimble Rod gave him a fist bump and said, "yep."
A promise was made on top of the mountain. Emile took a picture of the view after scavenging the settings for it.
They used a space gem to teleport back to White Star City. Emile explained his journey to his party and how they fought a new type of boss.
They already knew about it since they received a world announcement.
"Why didn't you invite us?"
This question was asked by the entire party.
"You guys looked busy, so I didn't invite you," Emile said.
"I'm always down for a boss fight," FBS Fulcron said with the crying emoji.
"I'll remember to ask you guys first before I fight a boss," Emile said with a laugh.
Emile left Nimble Rod to do his own business. He wanted to go see Severn and what he was doing.
"Where are you?" Emile asked.
"In my dad's lounge," Severn said as he lazed around in a seat.
"I'm coming to you," Emile said.
After a few minutes of walking, Emile arrived at the tower.
"I wanted to ask you a question," Emile said. Emile had this question ever since he met Severn. he didn't have an appropriate time to ask the question.
"Go ahead," Severn said with respect.
"Why did chose to become my knight," Emile said.
"Because you saved my life," Severn replied.
"Think about it. Isn't it weird for such a high ranking person to bow down and become a knight to a weaker citizen or person? You're the mayor's son for crying out loud," Emile said.
"Well, that is weird. You caught me. There's another reason that I chose to become your knight other than saving my life," Severn said. He paused before continuing.
"It was a prophecy," Severn said.
"Prophecy? Could you explain the prophecy?" Emile asked.
"All right," Severn got up. He wasn't laying on the couch anymore. Severn sat tall and straight and began talking with a serious tone.
