The next afternoon
An entire day passed with Emile snoring away in his cabin. He had a comfortable nap. The inside of the cabin was suited for a person to sleep in.
Emile wanted to stretch his arms outs, but the glass of the gaming cabin stopped him.
'What time is it?' Emile thought with worry.
Today was May 19th. It was a Tuesday.
Emile noticed that it was the afternoon. He had classes today, but he missed them due to his unconscious state.
The top players had made it into the cities. Most cities had either zero or one player. Emile's city was the only city with two people.
Since Emile had missed his classes for the day, he logged onto Nirvana and get the quest rewards.
Emile appeared in the Adventure Guild.
"You're back; why did you teleport away?" Stella said.
"Sorry, I was too tired," Emile said as he scratched his head.
"Well, I would have made you wait till today to prepare a few things," Stella said.
"Please hand me the six medallions for proof," Stella said.
Emile received the quest items from the challenges. He had six medallions that each had a letter on it. These letters created the word MASTER.
Emile gave them to Stella.
"All right. You're about to enter a state where any action you do could cause a class to appear. This means that if you want Miner to be your main class, then mine minerals. If you want to grow stronger with conversations, then talk to people to get a conversation related class. You can do hundreds of actions to gain a class," Stella said.
"Is this the reward for the six medallions?" Emile asked. he got no OP class. All he was given was a state of being where classes could be created for all actions.
"It seems bad; doesn't it? Well, it isn't, theoretically if you're skillful enough you can create any class you want," Stella said.
"Don't expect that you'll create a God class; that requires a religion and a lot of strength requirements," Stella said. She rolled her eyes.
Becoming a God was the first thought she had when she learned about the effects of the potion.
"I wasn't aiming to become a God; I want a strong class with lots of utilities and use," Emile said.
"Well, I'm sure you can do that," Stella said with a laugh.
"Go down the elevator to the basement. Someone is waiting for you and will give you the state," Stella said with a serious tone.
"Okay," Emile said.
Emile hadn't been to the Adventure Guild elevator. Another unique experience to note in his adventures.
He stepped in and pressed the button to go down to the basement. The elevator moved and the doors opened a few moments later.
The basement was much cleaner than Emile would have suspected. There were decorations. Flowers ordered neatly in two rows. One to the left and the other to the right of the green carpet.
Emile walked on the green carpet and headed deeper into the basement.
Emile saw a door. It was a wooden door. He opened the door since it was the only in front of him.
Inside was a lady sitting next to a desk. She was checking materials and cross-referencing things on a computer. She spotted Emile who opened the door.
"Come in," she spoke.
Emile walked in.
"You're the adventurer who found all the medallions," she spoke. She gave a look of intrigue.
"Yeah, I found all the medallions," Emile said.
"All right. This process won't hurt," she said. The lady was expecting Emle to appear so she had everything prepared. A file cabinet opened, revealing a potion. It flew out and arrived in the ladies hands.
"This vial is a rank nine potion. The person who drinks this will have their basic actions create a class. Normally, a basic action becomes a class whenever a person excessively does the action." she said.
She shook the vial around causing the fluids to sway around. The cork was sealed so that the drops didn't fall.
"What actions do you recommend," Emile wanted her opinion on the matter.
"Well, only one person in our history drank this potion. They came in contact with three elements due to some lucky coincidences. At their peak, they could summon lightning, control the earth, and fly freely in the skies. They were one of the strongest people in existence," she said.
"Woah. That means I can do the same, right," Emile asked.
"Yeah, but if you want to surpass him, you'll need more than three elements. You'll also require hard work and a lot of luck," she said.
She moved onto the main topic.
"I expect a lot from you. Drink the potion. If any classes pop up, you can reject them," she said, "accept the classes whenever you believe the class is worthy."
"All right," Emile said. He identified the potion.
Action-Reaction Potion
Rank: 9
???
She wasn't lying when she said it was a rank nine potion. Emile drank the potion.
[Action Effect is now an active effect in the user's body]
That's all the system said.
"Does that mean anything I do can give a class?" Emile said.
"Well, I'll let you see for yourself," she laughed and said. She knew some of the potions classes.
[Would you like the class: Conversator]
Emile was surprised by the instant effects of the potion. He said 'no' is his mind and the pop up disappeared.
"I already got a class notification," Emile said.
"See, everything you do will create a notification," the lady said.
"Now, go discover what class you want. The more complex actions you do; the better your class will be," she said. She used her psychic powers to make Emile walk out of the room.
The wooden door slammed shut behind him. She kicked him out.
[Would you like the class: Social Exclusion]
No.
[Would you like the class: Psychic]
No.
Emile once again denied the offer. He realized that during the initial stages, the game would bombard him with notifications.
Emile walked to the elevator and rode back to the lounge. He was asked about a class two more times on his way to the lounge. The first was for walking to the elevator. The second was riding the elevator up.
At this rate, there would be a class for riding the elevator down. These classes were useless and didn't have many prospects.
Emile realized that Stella had to be someone important for her to know about the Rank nine potion.
The woman in the basement was also an interesting person. She had access to a rank nine potion which should be rare.
"Who was the lady in the basement," Emile asked.
"She's the guild leader; she's also the strongest person in the city," Stella said with a laugh.
"She has psychic abilities," Emile said.
"Yeah, that's her strong suit. She can calculate hundreds of things each second. She was isolated from the rest of society due to her abilities," Stella sighed, "she was too smart."
"Is that why she's in the basement," Emile asked.
"Yeah. She also didn't like heights. She created the basement room using her psychic abilities. Well, that's what I heard," Stella said.
"Thank you for your help. I'm going to seek a class," Emile said.
[Would you like the class: Gratitude Giver]
No.
