Back in Olympus, news from Hades reached Zeus as the Big Three of the Olympians convened.
"What you said is true?"
"Would I lie to you brother?"
The two brothers looked at Hades.
"What?"
"You're really shameless aren't you."
"Whatever. Just tell us, what happened to Ares?"
"He died. Killed by Odin himself. He must have pissed the old coot with his obnoxious personality."
"We want to avoid war with them if at all possible. War between us would devastate the whole Immortal Realm."
Suddenly, Odin's cold voice resounded within the chamber.
"Let's not exaggerate, Zeus. We could devastate a part of the Garden, not the whole Immortal Realm. We are gods, but we're not omnipotent. You know that more than anyone! And even as gods, we also die when we are killed. Don't make it sound as if we're all that. Yeah?"
Hearing this, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades knitted their brows.
