20 minutes goes by and I kill close to 40 bandits. majority of them were just weak between apptrantce knights and novice mage. after every bandit on my side died I went to the meet up spot just right outside the biggest house in the center, it looked like the bandit leader house. I was first to get here so I hoped on a roof and sat waiting for everyone else.
half an hour goes by amd I see gen quickly making his way here. waving to gen he too hops on the roof I was on . " how many did you take out?" turning towards me he said with a straight face
"about 40, but I did find 3 girls in chains" I smiled,
" that's it? I guess you lucked out, I got 50 with 2 girl in chains, and 1 boy" smiling like he won a match
"well we will see who wins when the rest get here" smirking I push him.
not even ten mins goes by and I see hua and long walk beside each other like a couple on a walk? gen turns to look at me while he rolls his eyes.
"so how many sid you two kill" I ask them.
long looks up to me and says "about 45" he then tuned to hua who says "30 for me"
giggling to myself, I didn't come in last but I lost to long, shaking my head. we all gather around the front door
"well since we killed all the bandits around I think it's time we go loud and heavy domt you agree?" turning around I ask the everyone.
"finally, all this sneaking around is boring" long says with a smile
"just dont burn down the place just in case there is people or the treasure" hua said.
we all smile and think for a bandit village to have this much people they must have treasure. long runs forward and shoots the door with a lightning bolt. the door explodes and long charges in.l first. following long in we see a throne chair in the center of room. the rest of the room is made our of a dark wood but the floor has a red carpet. looking closely the carpet was made out of regular fox fur.
going forward there were 3 doors made out of iron
"now what? long ask
" we break them all" Hua says as she blast both door with wind.
normally wind wouldn't do anything to these doors but since the frame was made out of wood, it was the weak point. when the wind hit the frame the door flew backwards causing a loud boom to ring out. we peered thought the first door, there was a small pile of gold, a small hill of big silver and the rest were big copper. over to the left were 8 boxes neatly arranged, behind them were books and weapons. on the right side had 20 boxes neatly shelved.
"we take everything but the silver and copper, they will go to the people who are chained up, as people who pursue the peak we have no use for small amounts of mortal money" hua said with a proud face.
gen, long and I exchange looks before we agreed with hua.
we first walked over to the 8 boxes on the left, reaching out to the box I slowly open it and find their were low grade spirit stones inside, each box contained 5 so 40 in all. we each take two but then, "hey long you take mine, I still owe you a lot" before long could reply I toss them to him.
looking around I find nothing of note "hey guys can we have a deal" I turn to look at them
"what kind of deal?" gen replied
"I wont take anything, you can divided for just you three, but if the bandit leader has a space ring I want the ring and everything it has" staring st them all I
" that's fair i dont mind gambling" hua says as she looks at the weapons
"fine" long said aftersome thiught
"fine but if there isn't any ring then you get nothing so you cant complain" gen said with a straight face.
"deal" smiling I quickly leave the room before they open the 20 boxes on the right side.
a few seconds later everyone comes out and we explore the other room. the room on the right side was full of cages, inside of the cage were Male and female of all ages who looked starved. woken up by the loud noise they look at us.
"please save us" one of them cries out with al his strength, his lips looked chapped, faced was bruised and arms looked like bone. he looked to tired and hunger to shed any tears, it was a miracle that any of then was still alive.
"wait here we will be right back" hua said feeling disgust to the bandits, how could they treat others like this. a rage was building up inside her as she looked on the 3rd door which was just a hallway. we make our way down there and see big double door.
angry with rage she looks at gen "break this door down" her voice sounding like a demon from hell gen follows suit.
pulling out a lance, he roars"lance rush" he takes off and in no time the lance smashes though the door startling the two people on the bed.
"who are you? what do you want? do you know who I am? the male on the bed roared since his sleep was interrupted. the female coldly looks at us. she was sizing us up.
"time to die" hua summons wind blades "cyclone slash" making cutting motions with her arm blades of wind rush to the male.
"earth wall" a wall of earth comes up just as the wind blade makes its way to him.
fully awake now the man jumps, summoning a staff from his ring he aims downwards towards gen skull.
"die" he roared
gen looks up and jumps to the side, dodging the attack. the staff hires the ground and causes a 1m dent to appear.
the qi thay came off him seemed like a 6 knight I told everyone. "this would he fun" I smile as temperature in room falls.
"nyx back off he is mine" long looked at me and shouted. pulling out his spear "I haven't really tried going getting use to my rank yet, please be my stepping stone" long said before rushing the man
"hmpt arrogant brat" the man lunges at long. their weapons meet each other causing a boom to occur. the walls crack from their collision. both people were using qi in the simplest ways, enhancing their weapon as they attack. booms kept ranging though as the walls at the back and side slowly crack more and more. long tried use his spear and sweep at the bandits leader feet but he just jumped, aiming his staff downwards onto longs head, long quickly pulls his spear shaft to block the attack, once contact was made his spear vibrated from the attack, making his finger tickle. pushing up on his spear shaft long quickly backs up.
"your good old man, but I'm getting serious now" long smiles and says before channeling mana to his feet. he disappears leaving a shadow in his place as he appears right at the abdomen of the bandit leader and hit him with the butt of the spear. the bandit leader flys towards the back wall. once he hit it, the wall finally broke and he tumbled outside for 10m. when he stopped rolling he coughed up dark red blood mixed with chunks of organ bits. his face was pale. slowly getting to his feet he looks at long.
"Haha good one kid, how about you just let me off on a warning and we call it even" the bandit leader looks at long in the eyes.
"no" very decisively long throws his spear. the spear full of qi stabs the bandit leader though the head. his head exploded from the power of the spear, blood and brain matter littered the sky shortly before falling down. long walked towards the spear. when he walked past the body he noticed the a space ring and smiled. he bent down and took it off the bandit leaders hand . "you were nyx he did have a space ring" he tossed it to nyx who smiled. putting it away before checking it I turn to the lady who looked at us with a cold look.
"do you want to kill us?" I asked her
the lady shivered a bit but kept a proud look.
"you killed my lover who i grew up with, he has been with me though everything, we turned ti bandits becusde their wasn't enough food or money, we had good talent but it wasn't good enough to join a school or clan. but we survived. how is that wrong?" the lady shouted at us with tears running down her face, her eyes looked confused and angry.
hmpt" what person doesnt have a sad story, it doesn't make it right to kidnap and torture people, the people in the cells are on the verge of death, the girls and boys in the houses chained up were used as sex objects and abused. any one who sawthe people in charge would have thought it was a liar of devils. you deserve death" hua took a step out she summoned out a green saber," time to join your lover"
she was about to take another step but the lady said "we grew out bandit duo into a camp and then into a village, it took years of work and yes at first we didn't want to keep them and thought about killing them but th e men and women wanted to keep them, to stop a munity we agreed to it." sadden she lady collapsed and kept crying.
"enough talking" in rage hua started walking again, each step mad her madder and madder. ten steps away the lady looks at her and puts her hand over her stomach.
"I'm not going to beg for my life but if you kill me, can you infuse qi and mana to the baby, it did nothing wrong and shouldn't be blamed for it parents failures."
"wait your pregenat" gen, long and I said at the same time..
"stop hua" long said to her. "we can't kill a pregent lady even if she was a bandit" shaking his head at the outcome.
"shes probably lying, she has no bump what so ever" hua retort
"I'll check" nyx said as I walked up to the lady on the ground. kneeling down i placemy hand on her stomach, I Insert my orgin into her and I feel a life, unknowing to me the baby took some of orgin inside of it and kept it.
"shes telling the truth" staring at the lady
"what do we do?" hua stopped walking and said.
"we let her go but we need to cripple her first so she can never culvate again, and I say we cripple the baby too" gen said with a cold tone. "eliminate the weed by the root"
"noooooo anything but that, I'll be your slave, I'll do anything you say. I'll warm your bed, but dont cripple my baby" the lady wailed loudly when she heard it.
hmpt" you dont have a say" hua said coldly, she was still pissed about the situation.
"I say we cripple her and disfigure her" nyx said with a calm tone
"I agree but what if that child is talented we need to make sure he or she wont come for revenge" long said
"noo my baby wont do that, I swear by it. they wil never know you, please just take it out on me." the lady then took off her night down and kneeltow to us with tears down her face.
"well the chances are low that she will find out who we are" long said
"fine but how do we disfigure her" hua said she was clearly still upset.
"I got it, opening my hand I take out a small vial. this would make her weaker every day, it would give her 40 years left to live. if her child is a genius it would give him 39 years to chase me down and get the antidote but if he is not she will die, however I'll leave this in you" reach to ward her heart I pour in a ball of pure orgin into her. "I'll come back to you in 39years 11 months and 29 days. giving you one day to live, if you turned around your life for the better I'll restore you." I said. thinking that If the heavens always leave a way out, so I should too. given the lady two Hope's to be cured.
"why would you do that nyx? and how or when did get that poison? long and hua asked.
"the heavens always leave a way out so I left two. plus I may forget the 40yr mark she may die or she uses her culvation and dies early, both are possible" smiling I said to them
"thank you, thank you, thank you" the women thanked us for sparing her life and the baby.
that's when I noticed a ring on her finger was a space ring. "give me that ring" pointing at the ring the lady hesitates for a few seconds then takes it off. she tossed it to me. putting it in my space ring I turn around and head out of the room back into the hallway.
hua stares daggers at her and then looks down at her stomach. "your lucky" she then turns around and follows nyx. shortly after long and gen follow.
walking out we then round up all the cage and chained people.
"here is 100 big silver for each of you and 200 small copper due with it as you will. " given each person their money we turned and left back into the forest.
little did we know the baby the bandit wife was carrying absorbed the orgin and remolded its body into a genus who would become a king and a slave no older them 15 who was set free by nyx group died shortly before their arrival but came back to life with a new soul from a differnet world.
