in my culvating state, I keep trying to reinforce my body with qi using the decomposition and recomp theory. building myself anew slowly building a stronger foundation for myself. feeling that I'm reaching peak 3rd realm of knight i stop and switch over to mana. I always wonder why I can never find anything on using both at once. they are both energy. so I should be able to do both at the same time.
after 30mins I ignore that thought and move on jojo and hera who have been sleeping and eating or absorbing more mana recently. they might rank up soon. I need cores to help them with the process. thanking to myself as we continue our journey.
by the time rolled around we were pretty deep in a forest, " let's make camp" the boy said to his two other friends. mhm they both replied. they give me a quick look then leave the cabin.
coming out of my state, I look up to find in alone in the cabin. where did those three do? i wonder for a split second. stretching my arms into the air and legs on the ground. I yawn feeling sleepy but hungry I take out jerky from the space ring and eat it. drinking some water to rinse out my mouth. I quickly lay down on the seat and fall asleep.

finally we are our of the carriage, zhang said to his two friends.
" stretching never felt so good" said qui. as she rssised her arms to the sky.
" what do you think about the person in the carriage?" luk says to his two friends.
" that person has no manners, and was giving off a dangerous feel, it's best if we don't bother that person." struggling his shoulders.
" did you see the two snake daemon beast? they were so pretty. I really want a pet." qui says.
"having one cost a lot of money, not just food, luk says.
"anyways looking at quu and zhang. you two go get firewood, let's camp outside.
shortly after zhang and qui go deeper in the forest, they come running back at full speed" we got trouble".

something cold was touching me and it was absorbing mana like crazy. jumping out of my sleep and teaching in my sleeve taking out both jo-jo and hera. both of them were absorbing mana about to breakthrough. it's way to soon, usually they sleep for days to weeks before they show signs of breaking though. well that's was when they were going to rank 1.. then I start to think. could it be possible that when they were in the space ring they were using their own mana to stay alive till I opened it and took then out? which caused them to be born with rank 0. I mean I never heard of anything being born rank 0 with any type of bloodline. so since they have access to mana they are going to their original rank faster. pondering about my crazy hypothesis I look at those to. but something weird showed up on their heads.
on jojo head the symbol for heavenly appeared. shining in a golden light. and on hera SOVEREGIN symbol appeared on her head. what is going on. thinking to myself.
their was the sweet fragrance in the air, I liked trying to find where it came from. I looked down and found it was coming from both of them.
knock knock, hey person can you come.out here for a moment? a guy voice rang though the door in a panic. opening the door, the sweet fragrance escapes like a door opening to the spring air.
"what do you want" I say in a cold voice while putting jo-jo and hera behind me.

" your demon beasts are going though s breakthrough, they attracted other demon beasts" he says with an infuriated voice which as sslielntly worried.
"what do you mean" with more curiosity.
' you don't know? looking at me with a baffled expression. " demon beast have a hierarchy from the most common blood to royal blood. the higher rank blood the stronger they are. their at different grades based on purity and rank. it goes. mortal, common, rare, Legend, King, emperor, Sovereign, heavenly. the more pure the blood line the stronger it is. the demon with symbols appearing on their head or on their body at least king grade and have a high purity with a chance of coming to one tenth of their ancestry power. simply kings among kings. their have only been 6 emperor demonic beasts with symbols called the 6 demonic emperors. the reason why it's so hard to become one is any demonic beast that has a higher blood purity or a symbol and is legendary rank or above will release this sweet smell to attract other demonic beasts. a rank above and below it. only by winning and devouring would it rank up and be the king of it's rank. it's because if they eat the beast going ranking up they might have a rank up or Purify their bloodline. " he quickly says.
remembering what the symbols said. I can know I'll have future troubles.
"how long does it last" I ask in a hurry manner
" idk anywhere better a day or 2" but we need to contain this smell" he says.
got it" pushing him away from the door. I make an encase ice barrier around the carriage and horses and coach. stay here. I grab my sword from the blacksmith and head to the right side of the ice barrier scanning the Forest.
you can hear the stamped of beasts coming closer and closer, till you can see their red Madden eyes just beyond the trees. here they come" the boy yells. as he goes to group up with his friends on the opposite side of the carriage.
standing alone as the first wave of demonic beast comes though. they were 30 rank 1 dire wolves. lucky me and only the alpha has elemental afinity.
charging towards then I use my ice mana and with every slice of my sword it sends a wave of sharp ice towards other dire wolves. charging towards my first wave. I swing my sword and kill that were in front of my blade with a quick draw. their body splits in half as blood rains form the sky. dodging a claw that was coming the from the back with flash step. I appear in front direwolf. vertically standing my sword inbeweem it's eyes. the sword cleanly goes though the skull. killing it instantly. jumping to the next work it with stab though the heart. as the blade is being pulled out, I personally drag it long the inside so it can wipe off the blood before it comes out. going forward and back, dodging claws and teeth, while stabing and slicing dying the forest floor red with blood. the scent of blood and death lingered in the air as a piecing howel comes forward. standing 30m away and 2m tall was the alpha direwolf, it's brown coat of fur I almost mistake it for a bear. it's red eyes look at me and by sword which was dripping blood of it's pack.
taking deep breaths trying to stabilize my breathing for a tough fight.
the direwolf took off as it left an afterimage In it's place. it only takes a moment for it close the distance. raising my sword I charge right it, with a forward assault. listen it's right claw it tried to swipe me, hoping to tear me with its claws, I seethe attack coming and tried to cancel my forward momentum with a jump while I turn the sword sideways to block the claws. as we connected a screeching sound as if metal on metal collided was heared. since I was in the air the power of the swipe pushed me the left side where I a blackflip in mid air to break the momentum, landing 20m away, the sword in my hand had a crack in it. it wouldn't be as much just to me after a swing or two. if I don't kill it soon I'm going to.run out of mana and qi. taking in deep breaths, flash step to get in a meter distance been us but as soon as I took the step it jumped back, and all I hit was empty air. we were 25m apart staring at each other. tch 'so you found my steps weakness, bravo but you will still die' as I pointed the cracked sword at the Alpha, I charge forward then when I was 5m away I jump into the air, the direwolf backs up ready to go for a swipe. when I was falling I flash step in the air for the first time and appear 1m above it's back, to late to swipe it tried to dodge as I slashed vertically with all.my strigjtns.
"boom' a cloud of dust fill the air as I land on the ground. with knee touching the ground. looking and I don't see the direwolf. the dust starts to clear and I looked 40m away it was standing on 3 legs. I only managed to cut off a front leg. blood was pouring out of the leg like a river. sooner or later it will fall. smiling at the alpha I accidently let my guard down for a moment as a direwolf sneaks attack me the back and bites down on my shoulder. "agggg" I scream in pain, die. I summon an ice dagger and stab it, in the eye. the eye made a piping sound as the dagger went into it. the dagger wasn't long enough to kill it in one shot but it could nick the brain, the brain started to hemorrhage. the direwolf let's go and gives a painful howel as it started shaking it's head. more and more blood started to leak form the eye socket. a few seconds later the wolf dies a painful death. taking off my mask so I can breath more easily my messy hair started to stick to my face, as the sweat attacks my eyes, causing them to sting and water up a bit. the alpha wolf was standing by debating if it should attack or retreats.
taking in deep breath, I pull out one of crystals I had on my storage ring and pray it's a Spirit Stone and try to drain it. a rush of pure energy comes out form it and I circulate my qi though my body. *boom* a wall in my breaks as I become a 4th rank knight, it.kept raising ask more and.more energy is being absorbed' boom" 4th rank peak, boom 5th rank.low , 5th rank peak and finally a big boom goes off in my body as I puke out black sludge. 6th low rank knight. feeling better and amazing I flash step the wolf who was looking at me cautiously, I appear right in front of it as it tries to jump away, but with it missing a leg it jump was slwo and with a horizontal slash I cut off its other front leg.. when it fell on the blood stain ground, trying to get up, I quickly slash at it's neck cut it off but when I was striking down the sword finally broke, causing me to miss having a clean cut, but into a jagged cut on it's throat, which sprayed with me a jet of hot sticky blood. with the alpha dead the rest of the scattered direwolf left. only leaving the body of their dead behind. the forest ground was littered with bodies, the smell of heavy thick iron blood, was the only.smell for.miles. falling down I laid my back on the dead leader. I take out the 2nd stone and start absorbing it, turning it into mama. a short while it breaks and I become a rank 6 mage.
if only I knew what these were then i could have been way stronger, sigh, I need to get jo-jo and hera. walking my sore and tired body. I head to the ice barrier and open a small enough area so I can walk in. grabbing jojo and hera I bring then to direwolces and watch how they devour the wolves with then being half asleep.
