Rahz moved through the Temple of the Dreadnought and head it straight for the Havoc Chamber in order to talk to Thug'dromog. In the meantime, Hennessy sent all the information of the events to Riddick and told him to request help from the Elders in order to deter the God of Justice people from invading the Abyss.
The incident pertaining Riddick's father had left a bad taste in the mouths of the Elites and the decision to go to war with the outside had been postponed since the last orders given by Azgorth was to not avenge him.
The moment Riddick requested an audience with the Council of Elders using his connection to Annihilus the whole place got lively. Everybody was intrigued by the topic to be discussed and thanks to Igor the audience was schedule the same day.
Riddick was now 20 ft tall and the crown on his head was completely blue and thanks to all the energy filled things his father left for him, he was already level 28 and had started to bathe in dark blue magma.
The Bloodline of many demons tremble every time they were in close proximity to Riddick and the phenomena solidify his place as an important figure of the Demon Clan and a person that would surely bring prosperity and provide protection in the future.
Riddick walked into the chamber were Annihilus the oldest of the Val'gun was resting and saw many powerful beings looking down at the platform where he was about to speak.
"Elder Annihilus, I would like to request protection for my brother Rahz, Disciple of Giant Blade and member of the Temple of the Dreadnought who is being persecuted by those insolent followers of the God of Justice. My brother was carrying out retribution in my name as payback for the time one of their followers killed a person that was close to me but now they are coming after him without putting us demons in their eyes".
Riddick's speech was pretty good and appealed to family and the ego that had been hurt during the Azgorth incident. A commotion arouse in the room as many of the peace loving elders didn't want to enraged the main land and the ones that wanted to trample the puny races rallied behind a full out war. Riddick looked at Igor like saying, "How did protecting my brother turned into a full out war?". Igor just looked away and started whistling like he didn't hear the question at all.
The topic was a hot one and help for Rahz came from an unexpected place, a demon with the tail of a serpent that was made out volcanic rock spoke in favor of Riddick, "Elders please!!.. lets not forget that the request is the protection for the brother of the only heir to the Azgorth bloodline. We protect our own and as such I suggest we bring young Rahz to mount Doom and wait for things to develop the way they are suppose to, we owe my late friend Azgorth at least that much".
Riddick felt touched that the elder had stood up for him and did a deep vow of respect before Igor whispered in his ears, "Don't get too close to him young master, He is dangerous!!!".
Barash's speech was very eloquent and it provided a provisional solution to the problem that was not drastic at all. The elders in the audience were extremely shrewd and took the speech with a grain of salt, the final decision laid with Annihilus that had not spoken since the beginning of the meeting but he truly care for Riddick so he was willing to compromise.
"CHILD!!! THE ALLIANCE WITH THE OUTSIDE IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE SURVIVAL OF OUR KIND, IF A WAR WERE TO DEVELOP BECAUSE OF THIS, IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL...BUT THEY OWE US THE DEATH OF YOUR FATHER AT THE HANDS OF THEIR LEADER THE ONE BY THE NAME OF PENDRAGON. I SHALL GRANT YOUR BLOOD BROTHER PASSAGE TO THE MOUNTAIN AND REQUEST HIS CRIMES TO BE FORGIVEN IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR PREVIOUS TRANSGRESSIONS".
Riddick was all smiles as he came close to Annihilus and hugged one of his legs. The meeting was adjourned and Riddick sent the information to Rahz that finally saw a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
Rahz had been talking to Thug'dromog about what had happened but he hid some of the truth behind the incident, more specifically the part about Apocalypse devouring the Sword of Justice.
The one thing that Rahz had going for him was the fact that nobody saw Apocalypse eating the Sword so they could deny..deny..deny as the notion of a divine artifact devourer was farfetch to say the least.
Rahz didn't know how the God of Justice was going to respond but he had done what needed to be done and gathered some support to repel the crisis at hand. In Rahz's opinion, it was easier than he expected thanks to the atrocities performed by the orthodox followers of Odos in the past and without his knowledge he was about to gather a very powerful ally.
Giant Blade and his wives appeared in the middle of a grand cathedral but instead of pictures of saints and the light, there were gargoyles and paraphernalia to perform rituals towards statues of many Evil Gods. The room was as big as a basketball stadium and there were altars in front of giant sculptures of Evil Alignment Gods, Louxx the Plaguebringer was depicted as a hunch lady carrying a tiny head by the hair, Cthulu the Lord of Fear was portrait as a monster with no face, The Prince of Death was a well built man with a hood over his head and daggers in his hands,Rouk the Hateful One Look like a giant Leprechaun with a long nose.
"I am glad the kid can help us be reborn here, I do not want to go to the Realm of Fear. No fucking way" Giant Blade gave the statue of Cthulu the finger and left.
The group came onto a huge plaza were a lot of people were gather and they were all wearing dark robes that covered their faces. The architecture of the buildings was done in a Gothic Style that match well with the sinister energy floating in the air. In the Middle of the plaza there was an Execution Stage where people were decapitated if found guilty of crimes against the City.
The crimes against the city were committed by spies of Silverwing that were caught snooping around, they were then tortured before being beheaded at the plaza for everyone to see.
Who were Silverwing spies? Anybody that worshiped a Good Alignment God.
The decapitation of spies was an event that was considered a must attend for everyone at Blackrock Port as it was treated as a festival and the best food and drink were sold on the streets.
Giant Blade saw the stage and memories of all the wild parties he took part in came back in waves but he knew time was short and there was no time to daydream. The group walked down the wide streets and arrived at the largest building in the city where 2 fourth tier guards stop them.
"Hold! State your purpose" Said a troll looking down at the tiny Gnome.
"My name is Giant Blade and I am here to see my good friend Nightmare, tell him I got excellent news"
HA HA HA
"Tiny Man... move along, Lord Nightmare is busy and doesn't have any friends so you better go before I eat you"
The captain responsible for the trolls recognize Giant Blade but decided to have some fun at the expense of his subordinates so he stood back and just watched. Giant blade used Chaos Rune Burst and hit the troll square in the stomach with a flying kick. The flying kick produce ripples in the troll's belly who puke his lunch before flying back and hitting the guard tower where the captain stood.
The other troll didn't even have time to react to the attack on his friend, before the tiny gnome did a roundhouse kick that hit him square in the jaw which felt like being hit by a Gigantic Hammer. The troll's jaw was shattered and he passed out on the spot. The captain was just laughing his ass off but he knew there was no problem due to the amazing regeneration the troll race was born with. The jaw quickly reconstructed itself before the guard even woke up and the crisis was avoided.
"You need to teach this guards some manners" said Giant Blade a little annoyed.
"I tried, but they are trolls what else do you expect…"
"Is Nightmare in?"
The captain nodded before showing Giant Blade's group inside without even taking a second look at the Guards laying on the floor. As long as a troll didn't die, their innate regeneration could heal even the most lethal of wounds.
