Two days passed and Helgahvall was starting to get back on its feet. Despite the conflict with the Orcs, Barbarians honor their ancestors and believed that everyone should be giving a proper burial no matter what they had done.
It was because of this tradition that the Orcs were allowed to carry their dead back to their clan despite all the Tantrums Riddick threw about not being fed enough.
As the losers, the Orcs lost part of their territory to Helgahvall and had to take care of the clean up duty but despite that there was nothing else they could request, Women? Richest? Slaves? none of the above. A lot of warriors died in the war and they couldn't lord over too big of a place, close to 80% of the first evolution fighters of Helgahvall perished but more importantly they lost Rhaen and by proxy Etta and Rahz.
Rahz mourned his dad following the tradition of the village and attended the symbolic funeral as there was no body to burned at the altar. Rahz collected his dads blacksmith tools and placed them in the runic pouch given to him by the Mayor of Willowdale and picked up his dad sword as a memento which he also placed inside the pouch.
After all the ceremonies were taking care off, the village started to slowly rebuild their houses and pray to all the gods to provide them with protection once more. The gods answer their prayers really quick and protection came in the shape of Pryleous Mayor of Willowdale that play a decisive roll against the Kobolds with his powerful magic.
Now that the Kobolds had been weed out during the war, his guards took charge of half the Iron mine and the mining of the other half was left to the Kobolds that agreed to sell some of the Ore to the Mayor. Despite already owning half the mine and the entirety of the supply, Pryleous decided to give Helgahvall a cut and agreed to supply Iron weapons for the elites of the village as well as to provide protection while they couldn't defend themselves.
The news of Pryleous agreeing to protect the village gave Etta the green light to continue the journey she embarked 30 years before after listening to the Prophecy told by her grandmother before she passed.
High Elves lived a long life but most importantly because of their incredible wisdom right before they were about to leave the Realm of Elysian and into their god Realm they saw glimpses of events that will happen in the future. No prophecy told by a High Elf elder in his dying bed had ever been wrong, until now.
Etta was told to leave the land of the Elves to be an adventurer and meet her future husband. She was also told that she will then give birth to the Pillar of Valor that would save their way of life when the new war for the realm happened.
Etta turned to look at her son that was chasing his demon pet around the yard and frown. The pillar of Valor was the term used to described the supreme commander of the followers of Izana the Goddess of Valor. However, Rahz was not only a follower of a completely different God, he was a magnet for Evil Alignment beings.
Etta knew it was time to returned to her birthplace and ask the elders for guidance. Three days later Rahz woke up to find two bear coats with hoodie and a note that said:
"Dear Son:
I decided to Return to the Great Forest of Elphinheim. It is my birthplace and is also where your Elf ancestry can be found. Look for me once you have reached your third evolution but I must warn you, the barrier around the forest repels anybody that is evil at heart. You must learn to control your power and don't let it consume your values. Take care of your friends,
Love
MOM"
Rahz finished reading the letter and bow to grow strong so he could look for her and make her feel proud. Rahz wore one of the coats and went to look for Riddick in the yard when in front of the door he saw Bhirl.
" Rahz, I am sorry about your father. I wish I could have been able to fight along all our family and friends, I am useless "
Rahz walked up to Bhirl and place his hand on his shoulder and said, " My dad fought to keep his family and friends safe, If you would like to do something for him make sure to become a great Chief and lead the village forward. Here, I got a couple of things to help you."
Rahz gave Bhirl the Egg and then presented his father's shield to Bhirl. With a very solemn face Bhirl received the shield and said "I won't let you down".
After the solemn atmosphere dissipated a little, Bhirl and Rahz talked about their stories for the rest of the day as well as about the fact that his mother was gone and that he would be leaving soon.
Rahz was not sad at all, he had the feeling that it was not the last time they will see each other and he was right.
Rahz was not too keen in goodbyes so the next morning at daybreak he left the Village of Helgahvall. Two Bear looking humanoid, a stunning dark elf girl and a 7 ft serpent made their way through the South East forest.
"Where are we going?" Said the Dark Elf girl.
To the Temple of the Dreadnought!!!!
