The world was set on collapse at the year of 2098, resources have been bled dry and constant conflict began to become more often. But this was the mark of a new era, an alien aircraft had crashed into the atmosphere and with the ambitious humans, they began researching on it.
When someone knows a secret part of technology, others are close to follow. They have finished researching and crafted the first set of spacecraft set to travel to the planets. In just 10-15 years, they have accomplished feats by taking over their solar system with a colony set in each to extract resources to nourish the greed of humanity.
In the next decade, more pieces of the aircraft had been broken down and simplified for mass production to create Light Speed Engine or the LSE was made to further the agenda of colonization on other planets.
One solar system wasn't enough and many human moralities were broken down to aid in their conquest over constant races encountered in each system. They have proven to be vile and strict, allowing for their growth.
This constant domination and conquest happened for at least 300 years before it all slowed down in hands with another group, the Tjr Dominion. Many groups of humanity were unprepared and haven't united since the times in the Solar System and began compiling. Several groups had already fallen to the unifying dominion before the creation of the Federation.
The conflict raged on for several millenniums before it was seen that their fight was useless. The total war they would do for one another was devastating to both parties, deciding small scale galactic wars to be the only valid defense between the two.
The Federation and the Tjr Dominion.
This marked a date unknown to the world unbeknownst to such and the Federation began breeding humans for combat.
They had a lower status compared to citizens of the Federation and were bred by the Combat Personnel Institute or the CPI. They housed many names but were mainly known as Grunts or Workers.
The year was 5080 when the new expedition force to a new galaxy became the carriers of a Galactic virus. With the developed network of the Federation and the Tjr, the spread was imminent and couldn't be stopped.
They were all contracted by a species or holders first called VIR-1389. But with better research, they were given the name the Atelytes, a multi-cell antigen that has no shape but could morph into a variety of forms.
Everything about them was a mystery but all knew it was an enemy to all races, the Tjr and the Federation worked for hand in hand to deal with the virus to the extent that it doesn't interfere with their small galactic wars. But it goes through a sudden turn of events and infected the homeworld of the Federation, Earth.
All facilities had been abandoned in the Solar System and the homeworld had been established at TYC98 ARGONAUTA.
Research ensued at an international lab but further research-proven with no success unless they had a carrier with them. But that could be detrimental so they halted research and waited it out. The death of the virus could be predicted to end at around five centuries where it is left in a dormant state of growth and decided to test their hypotheses on the Solar System.
It reached its time and research ensued on the infected planet with one of the highest mortality rates they had with 100% until proven wrong.
It was the third year after the event, 5583 and a third Vanguard unit is dispatched onto the World for further research. Further groups of the other two years had gone missing and the third was sent for investigation. Will they find out the mystery of the world and cure the virus? Or would they also go missing as well?
