Chapter 72 - 5.18

Once Xiang Kai and Sun Ri both disappeared into the building, the media grew even more hostile in their frenzied questioning of Guo Ziyue, but the man merely stood vacantly in the same stance for a long while, as if he'd been struck by lightning. Nevertheless, the volley of attacks intensified, undeterred by his lack of response, because the desperate reporters were aware that the best way to recover some dignity and protection from the king was to harshly denounce the instigator of the whole mess. And the more abusive they were, the better the results would be.

Regrettably, however, the increasingly raucous atmosphere soon snatched Guo Ziyue from his daze. Upon scanning the enraged mob, the humiliated star belatedly realized that he'd been making a fool of himself and sped away in his car, constantly muttering denials under his breath. As if his words could determine reality, he repeated to himself over and over again that the man he'd hoped to spend the rest of his life with couldn't be Xiang Kai, the sole person who'd encouraged him to rise from the depths of his despair couldn't be the stepping stone he'd used to escape that very pit.

That's right, it was ridiculous to even consider the possibility. 'Longing_for_the_Moon' was too different from that piece of trash who'd discarded him in his last life; his fan admired him, praised him, wanted to be with him, while Xiang Kai had scarcely even acknowledged his existence. Anyway, how could Sun Ri know anything about his supporter? He'd probably just picked up the name somewhere and, bewitched by Xiang Kai, wielded it to try to hurt him.

Although he recognized in the back of his mind that the man in the photograph his fan had sent did resemble Xiang Kai, Guo Ziyue rejected the idea with all his strength, he felt that he would go mad if they were in fact the same individual. So, gripping the steering wheel, he pushed the unbearable prospect out of his brain and deliberated on what he should do next.

Meanwhile, inside the palatial theater that was hosting the premiere, Chen Yu stoically walked on with Sun Ri's comforting arm wrapped around him until they reached the hall where the rest of the cast were milling around. Because these people hadn't heard the news about Guo Ziyue's deception yet, their scrutiny of Xiang Kai was laced with contempt, their features twisted in grimaces or lecherous smirks. Still, they had to give the king face if they wished to remain in the industry, so they didn't dare to comment on his partner, opting to disregard him entirely and concentrate on fawning over Sun Ri.

Also among the group of actors was Shui Re Dian, who had arrived earlier, but, unlike the others, as soon as he spotted his poor junior, the man leapt over to console him, completely certain that Kai had been wrongfully accused. Not only did he fully trust that the child wouldn't blackmail anyone, he knew that even if his junior had such urges, the king would never have let him target anyone other than himself. When he reached out his arms to hug the beautiful boy, however, he was simultaneously shoved back from the front and yanked away from behind, leaving him to pathetically wriggle his hands toward his cute junior, who merely dipped his chin at him.

Sun Ri wrinkled his brows at the savage who'd charged at his doll, then subtly nodded to the tall man confining him. At least Lawyer Kuang seemed to have a good grip on the pest, although he sensed that the other's emotions toward the actor were rather ambiguous. Well, while his method of handling him was unexpected, as long as he made sure that Shui Re Dian didn't approach Kai, he wouldn't interfere.

"Sir," Lawyer Kuang greeted Sun Ri back, coldly scanning the youth who had attracted Shui Re Dian. Was this his type? The boy looked too tiny, too thin, too weak, he would no doubt be unable to take care of a man like his Shui Re Dian. Hm, he'd been struggling with how to go about locking his prey down, but with this, he understood that Shui Re Dian's preferences would have to be adjusted first.

Each drawing their own conclusions from this encounter, the two gongs exchanged glances then tacitly guided their partners away at the same time to sit far apart, separated by a sea of people.

Due to this arrangement, Shui Re Dian didn't even have a chance to look at his junior again during the event, let alone speak with him, so that, dejected and lonely, he trudged out afterwards, whereas Lawyer Kuang hustled them back home energetically. With his priorities straightened out, he was eager to commence his exhibition of his strong points.

On the other side, Sun Ri led Kai away from Shui Re Dian's clutches to a relatively secluded area and concernedly knelt in front of the seated boy, rubbing his small hands between his own. While the youth was expressionless as usual, he remembered how the petite body had been trembling in front of Guo Ziyue, he must have been startled by the terrible reception. Thus, whispering in order to not draw the attention of any outsiders, he asked, "Doll, are you all right? Did the fuss outside scare you?"

Although Chen Yu sincerely shook his head to signal that he was fine, Sun Ri pretended not to see and instead promptly suggested, "A hot drink is supposed to help relieve shock, stay here and let me get something for you, okay?" Saying so, he quickly strode over to the bar, not allowing Xiang Kai to refuse.

Discerning the pushiness buried in the solicitous tone, Chen Yu suspiciously narrowed his eyes at his lover's back. What was the pervert up to now?

The man didn't disappoint him, the cup of hot chocolate he carried back had a barely perceptible smell of alcohol, the meager amount enough, nonetheless, to have intoxicated the original body. Unfortunately for Sun Ri, once Chen Yu's plans had been carried out, he'd immediately used his golden finger to eliminate any symptoms of his lupus, so he was no longer taking the medication that had previously made him such a lightweight. Whatever ploy the man hoped to pull wouldn't work on him anymore.

Therefore, despite having grasped both the undercurrents between Shui Re Dian's handler and his lover as well as the pervert's intentions in offering him this drink, Chen Yu merely curled his lips at his lover's foolishness and savored the sweetness. This was simply one more debt to the collection he'd noted down in his heart—and tonight, he would make sure the man reaped the rewards he'd earned for himself.

While Chen Yu had been musing to himself, the film had started playing, and Sun Ri feigned a passionate interest, boring a hole through the screen with his examination. In actuality, however, he'd been furtively peeking at the boy the whole time, nervously checking if he'd detected the dollop of cream liqueur that he'd added. But as he watched, his doll trustingly drained the whole cup, causing a pang of guilt to hit him. He was a despicable liar, he should confess right away...but at the thought of how cute the tipsy Kai had looked, his contrition was immediately overwhelmed by anticipation. Would his doll cling to him? Would he act spoiled? Sun Ri smiled idiotically at his delusions, dazzled by his fantasies.

Still, notwithstanding his reverie, he was attuned to the boy's every twitch, so the moment the boy swayed, he promptly reached out in an experienced manner to settle the youth sideways on his lap and peck the tender cheeks. Pleased at the convenient placement, Chen Yu took advantage of their dark surroundings to grin openly. His lover was just begging to be punished ah. In order to oblige, he affected inebriation, nuzzling his lover's neck and mischievously shifting his weight back and forth along the long, solid thighs.

For the Sun Ri who had already been half-erect from his imagination, the stimulation was too much, he nearly coughed from his suddenly dry throat. To prevent anyone from glimpsing the doubtless adorable boy, he clumsily pulled a flask of whiskey from his jacket's inner pocket and gulped down several swallows, gasping unevenly. Eventually, once he somewhat recovered, he strenuously rasped out, "Ah, that...be good, stay still, doll."

But how could Chen Yu let him go so easily? He naturally ignored him and continued moving around restlessly, until Sun Ri couldn't take any more and huskily groaned, grasping the boy's butt to stop him from grinding further on his swollen member. Laughing inside at the man's ready response, Chen Yu pressed his mouth against the man's ear and fretfully grumbled, "Gege, this position is too hard, want to move."

Then, without giving Sun Ri time to prepare, he swiveled on the other's lap to straddle the pervert's stiff groin and wrapped his arms around the broad shoulders, sighing contentedly as if he was comfortable at last. A moment later, he brushed a kiss on Sun Ri's clenched jaw and prevented the man from attempting anything by murmuring, "Sleepy..."

Thus, unwilling to shift his doll for fear of waking him and unable to calm down with the warm weight pressing exactly on top of his desire, Sun Ri sweated through several torturous hours, helpless to do anything but stealthily knead the boy and nudge his length against his supple hips.

Finally, when the premiere finished, Sun Ri neglected everything else and sprinted out the instant the lights turned on, carrying the youth in front of him with his face hidden against his chest, his crotch rubbing against the slender body with every step. As he tucked the drowsy boy into the passenger seat of his car, he caressed the flushed skin beneath the red collar and exhaled. "You little devil..."

To this title, Chen Yu simply snorted and turned away. Hng, he was just getting started ah, let's see if he could graduate to a big devil by the end of the night.

Sun Ri had assumed that his torture would be over as long as he wasn't in public, but he discovered that he'd been too naïve. His doll was apparently heated due to the alcohol, he began carelessly tugging his clothes apart to expose his lovely clavicle and the alluring array of bite marks and bruises across his chest. Nearly drooling at the sight, Sun Ri's erection, which had scarcely subsided, grew even harder, so that he couldn't focus on driving, he had to pull over and cover the boy with his jacket before he could regain his senses.

Damn it, he didn't know if he could control himself, what if he went too far and made his doll have a fever again? Should he drop Kai off at his apartment? A brief hesitation later, however, Sun Ri decided that the boy would be safer with him. After all, what if something happened when he was drunk? Clearing his throat, Sun Ri convinced himself that this was for the youth's own good and advanced toward his house.

Chen Yu curved his mouth, guessing what twists and turns had taken place in his lover's mind, and curled up in his seat to face the man's profile. Although Sun Ri pretended to be wholly focused on driving, his eyes involuntarily jerked toward the boy at this movement in his peripheral vision, only to catch his doll licking his lips and yawning, his starry, wet eyes squeezing out two crystal-like teardrops. With his actions, the coat he'd draped over that seductive body slipped down, then, as if just noticing it, the boy petulantly tossed it aside to unbutton his shirt down to his cute navel.

Staring at his lover with a glittering gaze, Chen Yu mumbled, "Mm, it's hot, gege, let's go faster." Sun Ri bit his lip and reached a hand down to strangle his bursting desire, the unclear meaning in his doll's words making his blood boil. But it would still take another half an hour to get home, how was he supposed to contain himself? His heart filled with prayers for forgiveness for whatever sins he'd committed to suffer such temptations and, more importantly, begged to be granted enough restraint to not thoroughly devour his doll on the road.

When he couldn't discern any indication that heavenly aid was on its way, Sun Ri instead pleaded with Kai in an almost beseeching voice, "Doll, hold on a bit longer. I promise I'll go as fast as you want when we get home, okay? Although, at this rate, we might not get there at all..."

Chen Yu hummed, it would be interesting to prolong his lover's wait, so he obediently agreed.
