I left the room before it got weird and shifted to my wolf form.
Using scent, I picked up the smell of a reptile.
Ding!
The skill scent is now level 2!- can track the source of a particular scent.
I followed the trail and it lead to a large fruit tree. The fruits here seemed rather luscious and inviting.
Willpower check successful!
You see through the illusion!
Like a ripple, the image faded.
Suddenly I saw rotten fruit and a giant snake that was coiled around the tree, The snake's eyes were focused on me, it's head swaying back and forth.
{Illusionary Cobra}- Elite Level 8. (2000hp)
A heard a strange sound in my head, "Help...me..."
What was that? Was it the tree?
Almost as though answering, the tree groaned and creaked.
I quickly shifted back into human form and used healing breeze on the tree.
10 ๐ฌ๏ธper second.
The heal caused a weird groan to escape as green ooze spurted out of the trunk. The snake coiled and prepared to spring at me.
Summoning the nature power I cast nature bolt. A green bolt of energy zapped the snake, seeming to do little too nothing.
The snake snapped at me, but didn't quite have the reach causing it to land on the floor in front of me. Wasting no time, I summon root's from the ground to bind it.
Success!
Illusion snake is stunned for two seconds.
The large roots grab onto it and it freezes in place, immobilized. Green energy poured from my hands as the nature bolts assault the snake.
(1955/2000.)
I was down to half of my mana capacity, while the snake had barely taken any damage.
What was up with this quest too? Why were they all so hard?
I focused on the battle and settled in to a strategy. Kite it around the tree while casting healing spells. The snake threw me for a loop when it used an ability and summoned three tiny poisonous snakes that tried to flank me.
These snakes forced me to change up my strategy, slightly. I had to use my staff to crush them while continuing to kite the big snake. It proved to be much easier than I thought it would.
Ding!

After taking out the minions I continue toroot and move away from the snake while casting heal after heal.
More and more green ooze came out of the tree with each heal. After about a minute, my heal increased in level increasing my base heal by 5%, The snake once again summoned three tiny snakes, allowing me to establish a cool-down time for its ability.
After a grueling twenty minutes the snake was at 90% but the tree had finally stopped producing green ooze.

I hoped that the gland could be used to create an antidote.
Time was running out for the quest so I hurried back to bloom.
She heard me coming and met me outside. "What happened?"
" You should be able to make an antidote out of this poison gland, I hope./ "
Bringing the gland to an old moon Elf elder, she is shown how to make the antidote.
