A field boss!
She expects me to defeat a monster that would take a raid party of at least 20 players to bring down! Not only that, the bear is 9 levels higher than me!
It was obvious that the goddess wanted me to take the form of the bear to defeat the rest of the quest, but how? I decided to wait, and watch.
The super annoying screeching sound pulled me from my thoughts. I found that I could see the bear's stamina bar, which led me to understand the plan. Though a field boss, its stamina was depleted so it wouldn't be able to fight back. It somehow felt wrong...to attack such a powerful creature in that state. I just couldn't do it so I decided to find out what was causing all that racket. Plus my quest says to investigate the cave and recover the mana-stone not kill the bear. I'll have to figure that out later.
