Chapter 2 - Uncle!

The forbidden forest was a really big place.

Elita and her grandparents lived in the only safe stop located next to the forbidden forest. Grandpa Chang has casted arrays over their safe spot so unauthorized guests will be teleported to a far away place, and only the three of them has the authority to permit who comes in and out.

Elita was greatly impressed with her grandparents, they've clear out trees so that they had more room and the house had running bathrooms.

Grandma Chi constantly reminded Elita not to head to the core of the forest. Elita was quite arrogant she believed she was strong enough. Therefore while Grandpa Chang and Grandma Chi were out she was going to use this chance to explore it.

Elita followed the tracks that seemed to belong to the beast called the Fling Bear, it had a single fruit growing on its forehead until it matures and when it mature the fruit falls off for the Bear to consume. The fruit was called the Fling, it is a really great nourishment for pregnant individuals since it is known to make the bones of the baby grow stronger and lowers the chances of miscarriages.

Elita wanted the Fling Bear's meat, she drooled at the thought of the tender meat slizzing with flavor as it enters her mouth.

Following the Fling Bear's track, she located another track. This one looked like it was from a battle, the ground was frozen at one side and burnt at another. Trees were destroyed and every living thing in the battle zone was dead.

It looked like there were other people at the forbidden zone, Elita wanted to check it out.

It's been years since she met anyone else aside from her grandparents, and she wanted to see the individuals who could cause such a level of destruction.

Going on further, she forgot all about the Fling Bear. Her mind was excited, she wonder if she was also going to be able to fight too, she really wanted to test her strength on someone other then her grandparents who were bizarrely powerful.

Up ahead laid countless bodies, some of the body's were shriveled up like someone took all their vitalities and it sent chills down Elita's spine. Some would make you vomit just by looking at the level of mutilation done to them. Elita closed her eyes maybe she will eat just vegetables for a few days now.

After countlesses of body she finally found someone alive, he was propped up against the tree and the tree was slowly started to die under his touch. He was injured and his whole body was covered in blood.

Elita instinctively wanted to run away. All her senses were on high alert. She needed to leave this place immediately.

It was already too late as the man already grabbed her wrist. Elita felt regret, she should have listened to Grandma Chi and now she was never going to see them again because she was too stubborn and arrogant.

Elita felt her mana being poured out, it was like her life was being suck out literally. She felt the first layer of the seal suppressing her power snap, but Elita was still unable to move.

The man's eye had a crazied look in them like he wasn't sane. Only after he broke Elita's second layer of seal did he regain some sense.

" Sorry" was what he said as he fell into the warm embrace of Elita.

Elita was totally unharmed except for fact that her internal energy was sucked out. Elita's body constantly produces a huge amount of internal energy, which in most case is great, but for Elita she is unable to control it and she could go berserk because of her power, and that is why she has seals placed on her to restrict her power.

Elita stood there looking like an idiot, as she supported the weight of the the man.
She was in a daze she felt slightly violated, and the man looked like an older gentleman with his bearded face. The smell of blood was pungent and Elita felt nauseous.
She was stuck between leaving the dangerous man behind and or being a angel and saving him. She gently placed him on the ground, but his grip on her wrist didn't loosen.

Should I cut off his hand? She thought. She gritted her teeth and lifted his large physique. "I pray I won't regret this"
