Osos Continent, Erconic Kingdom, within Darkwing City.
In a old Victorian style mansion within an unusually quiet district, a 12 year old boy could be seen sitting upon his bed. He appeared malnourished. His clothing was made of expensive material, but looked as if it had been worn and torn due to long term use.
A crimson glow covered both him and the wooden floor. He seemed somewhat handsome, but unfortunately due to his pale, lanky, and ghastly figure none of that could be recognized. He also had long flowing black and white hair, one black and one white eyebrow, all tied together pale white skin that made him look sickly. This young man was Grim.
After making his oath Grim planned to do just as promised. Prior to cultivating he'd need to get rid of his bodies impurities, so that they wouldn't build up to the point of causing permanent injury.
Next, he'd need to find a suitable method of cultivation. "It's to bad that I couldn't bring [Demonic Rebirth] with me." Grim muttered, After saying that there was a increase in the crimson glows light, then all light was gone.

Confused Grim began to look around. No longer in his room he began to scout where he was. Before He could move a large tome descended from the dark abyss that was above.
On the spine was thick golden stitching. The Cover had a almost scarlet colored miasma surrounding it. Decorating the front was a silver hooded skull with ruby eyes. The Leather like material that bound it had a mahogany tint to it. The tome had two leather straps keeping it shut on the side.
A pulse ran through Grim's veins. It felt as if the large tome was calling to him. Unable to resist the urge Grim stuck his hand out. The instant that his skin made contact with it a streak of red flashes into his skull. A searing pain enveloped his forehead him.

"Ahhh… aghhh.. ahh, what the hell just happened to me." Grim said with a Grimace on his face as he struggled to get up. A quick unnoticeable flash of crimson in his eyes.
The pain began to subside, After trying to recall what occurred, Grim finds the strangest the strangest thing. Within his mind is new information that he'd never seen.
In his past and current life he'd never seen this. Although similar to information crystals, it felt completely different. As if this information had always been apart of him.
[Demonic Rebirth, Chapter 1/9]. "Could this mean that the cultivation method is the reason I was able to reincarnate." Grim deduced this as there was no other logical explanation to why he was still alive.
"Haha… It came with me. The heavens have smiled upon I, Grim Messorem." With a cold gleam in his eyes Grim began to digest all the information in his mind.
He devoured it as though he was scared that it would disappear before he could. "Wow, I didn't know that uaxead had such a use when mixed with the bloodsphet plant." He had never imagined that it medicine concoction could be done this way.
With this my cultivation will no longer be held back by this horrid constitution. In fact it will make me stronger than ever.
Like a child released on a rampage in a toy store, Grim read and assimilated all the new information throughout the night.

Just as dawn came about Grim had gotten a complete understanding of chapter one. All the theories and ideas made him realize how incorrectly he had previously cultivated.
"With this breaking through the foundation realm will only take six maybe seven months at most! It had previously taken me two years!" Having understood the inner workings of chapter one, it was time for Grim to delve into the mysteries of chapter two.
"Ouch! what was that." The moment Grim attempted to read the second chapter a scorching heat had ripped into his soul. "Looks like I don't have have access to any more material." said Grim with a frown of disappointment.
"Whatever, what I've gained is already enough to put me on the correct path, and regardless I may be able to read it in the future."
As Grim stood up he noticed that he and his clothing were drenched in layer of slightly dark sweat that smelled putrid.
"I should shower before I head out."
In the back courtyard Messorem's young master could be seen taking bath. "Grim, is that you." Victoria called out from the shaded porch. "Ya mom, it's me I needed a bath. If you don't remeber less than sixteen hours ago I was dead in a coffin."
"Okay, no need to be sarcastic. Next time call one of servants to help you. It would break my heart if you hurt yourself again after all you just woke up, what what would I do if I lost you?"
"If there's nothing else I'm going to our medicine shop to make sure that everything is running smoothly, and to make sure that good for nothing Macdonwald clan isn't causing any trouble." with a shake of her head and a frown on her face Victoria turned to leave.
"Wait, mom before you come back can you grab a couple of things for me?" shouted Grim in a rushed manner.
"Of course, just let me know what you need and i'll make sure to grab them for you." Victoria called in response.
"Okay." Victoria nodded her head to show she was ready. "First I'm going to need four bundles of Bloodsphet, one-hundred grams of Uaxead, ten grams of Norgium…." Grim listed of twenty-three more medicinal plants and herbs before stopping.
"Wow, from what you just listed it sounds like you're preparing to make a very complicated pill. Should I call an alchemist too?" questioned Victoria.
"No, It's a secret." Grim said with grin. "Don't worry though the woman in my dreams told me to get these things as they would fix my stagnant cultivation."
"Really? Well if that's what you want i'll make sure to get it. It's not like your cultivation could get any worse." Grim's mother said with a smirked.
"Hey! I'm doing my best!!" Grim said before he and his mother burst out laughing.
"Okay honey take care." said Victoria as she walked away still chuckling.
After that Victoria set out for the market and grim began to make his preparations for when his mother returned, and his journey officially began.
