Under a huge and ancient tree, Yun Xie sat in a lotus position. She closed her eyes and slowly circulated her Qi to mend her battered body. Her Qi flowed from her dantian and through her meridians. She carefully removed the impurities of her body, and tiny beads of sweat has already started to form on her still bloodied face and body.
It was hard to mend this body and reinforce it with what little Qi she has. She coughed out blood as her body's five viscera and six bowels moved and healed. It was painful and she couldn't resist frowning a little, but her face still retained their coldness... and bloody creepiness.
Yun Xie couldn't help but think. It was just a little beating from little girls, why is this body this badly damaged?
The wound on her head finally closed and her entire body felt new again. Yun Xie opened her eyes, and everything around her became clearer. It seems like the blurriness from before did not only come from her wounds, but also because her eyesight was bad.
Yun Xie stretched her arms. Her entire body is now a hundred times even better than what it originally was, even before being subjected to such wounds.
Now that her body is as good as new, her mood has elevated a little and she felt reinvigorated. But, the blood covering her entire body still made her feel uncomfortable.
Because of the treatment, she almost has no Qi anymore. Judging on this world's spiritual energy, it would take hundreds of years before she can get back her just used Qi. And she doesn't even know if this body can live until that age! She'll most likely die before she can regain her Q!
That's why, she can't use her favorite Dirt Removal Art to clean her body. She needs to do what normal mortals do. Find some source of water, bathe, and find clothes!
Yun Xie stood up and walked to the exit of the forest.
But here comes the problem. She does not know the way!
Yun Xie clenched her knuckles. There's no way that this deity is lost!
She had no other options but to walk on feet aimlessly. If it was before, she would've already flown on top of her legendary mounts or flying swords! Curse this ugly, low-grade world without Spiritual Energy! A rock from her past world is even better than this place!
Yun Xie walked around for hours, yet it felt like she's only going around on circles. Dense trees are still surrounding her and she has not seen any people yet. It was extremely fortunate that she used her cultivation to enhance this body, if not, she would have long collapsed due to exhaustion.
About to give up, Yun Xie heard muffled noises from near her. Her spirit was once again revitalized. She immediately ran towards the noises. She has to find the exit, if not, she'll forever be trapped here! She still wants to explore this unknown world!
Upon reaching the source of the noises, Yun Xie saw a group of little turnips lively shouting at each other in excitement. It seemed like they were playing with something on their feet with huge grins adorning their little faces.
'Ugh.. Brats. Not good with them.'
Yun Xie unhappily scowled. She always had trouble with little kids. Words just can't get through those darn kids heads, and if she used force, they would loudly wail and make her eardrums burst. There are good and quiet kids, which she likes, but those kids over there are clearly the opposite. They are her nemesis!
Yun Xie walked towards them and noticed what 'toy' those little brats were playing with. It was a strange little animal covered in fur. It has pure, round obsidian eyes and a cute tiny black nose. Its body is adorned with soft, luxurious white fur. But because of those little brats kicking this poor little thing around, it's snow-white fur has long turned into various colors from all the dirt.
It has been so long since Yun Xie saw a dog. The last time she saw one was when she was still in the mortal realm, and that has been more than ten thousand years in the past. Once in the cultivation world, most of the pets there would be mystical or legendary beasts. Only normal mortals would want a dog that is only good at being cute.
She has seen countless mystical beasts slain by cultivators. And of course, dogs too. Her dog, when she was still a kid and not a cultivator, also died. She swore never to get a weak pet again after that.
Yun Xie decided to not spare the dog anymore glance, but accidentally, her eyes met with the dog. Its round black eyes were staring intently at her with no signs of moving. Even though the dog is currently suffering abuse from the kids, it did not let out a single sound nor whimper. It just stared its deep black eyes intently towards her, as if compelling her to make the kids stop.
Is it just her, or is this dog currently emitting a noble air?
But as a deity, she has no pity!
And as a strange folk herself, nothing can faze her!
Yun Xie walked towards the little kids playing with the dog and asked, "Brats, where's the exit of this place?"
"Haaa? Can't you see.." The little kid stopped kicking the poor white ball to turn towards Yun Xie. The moment his eyes met Yun Xie, the little kid's voice trailed off. "....we're..pl..a..ying..."
The moment the little kid turned his head, he was met with the face of a young girl covered in blood. The girl continued to gave off the strong stench of blood, and her hair was sprawled on her face, sticking on some of the blood. Her clothes were tattered and filthy, already lost of their former color.
Meeting Yun Xie's bloodied appearance surrounded by trees, the kid trembled uncontrollably. Strength left his knees and he stumbled backwards. The little boy fell on the soil and froze in fright.
The other kids also stopped beating up the dog and turned to look at what their friend was looking at. They were about to laugh at their friend, but the moment they saw what their friend was looking at, their little faces all paled simultaneously.
"I,it's a g-ghost! Run! AaaAAAAaHH!" The little kids started to scatter and scramble as they run as fast as they can. Another little kid grabbed the frozen boy on his hand as he urged him to run.
"Nooo! It's eating me! It got me! Aaah!" One little kid tripped and dramatically screamed. A wet patch slowly appeared on her pants and pooled under her. She struggled and clawed her hands into the soil as she shakingly got up without a care for her ruined pants.
Yun Xie did not even move, what does that brat meant by 'it got her'? Is that little girl going to use her as an excuse for staining her pants?
This is why she hates little kid! She only appeared a "little" bloody, and see what they all did!
Now she's only left with a useless dog!
Yun Xie squatted near the dog and stared at it. The cute little dog elegantly got up on its soft, tiny paws and stared back at Yun Xie as if waiting for her to do something. Yun Xie decided to poked the dog with her index finger and was surprised with it's fluffiness.
Yun Xie grinned, looking like a lecherous old man. Her gentle pokes began to change into rapid strokes, and the poor dog become dizzy from all her ruthless rubbing.
"Grrrr..! Woof!" The dog fought back and tried to escape her grasp, but Yun Xie only stroked him even more. What is this dog? Why is it so fluffy? It feels so good to the touch!
The poor, little dog immediately lost all of its patient and bit Yun Xie's hand. When the pain from the dog's bite registered to her mind, she immediately released the the now mad dog from her evil hands.
"Damned dog! Don't think this deity won't hurt you!"
"Woof! Woof! (Damned idiot, shut the hell up!)" The dog angrily howled and retorted. It raised it cute little paw and angrily slapped Yun Xie's face.
Yun Xie immediately froze up, her eyes unmoving from the dog. Just earlier, she doesn't understand what this mad little fluffball was barking about, but now, she can actually understand it!
And this voice...!
"Woof! (Look at this mess you made!)" The dog barked.
No doubt. This enchanting and magnetic voice...
It definitely belongs to the Demon God Alderam!
