Chapter 45 - Tampering the Laws of Heavens and Earth

"Stop! Don't pinch my cheeks! It hurts!"

"Hurts? Even if I use my cultivation, I won't be able to hurt you. You speak so much nonsense!"

"Nonsense your sister!"

"You even dare curse me, you brat?!"

"You ungracious dumb fogey! Your house... okay! Fine! It's not lousy. It's mediocre. I'm giving you face already by changing my statement. What do you mean? I will help, of course, ah—fight, yes, fight. Ugh. I'll fight that pest so stop pinching me, old fogey! You are delaying important matters!"

"You finally know what's important, huh?" Satisfied, Ye Mo harrumphed and stepped away from the pouting little girl. "Why don't you just admit you are being lazy so you didn't wanna fight in the first place?"

Little Yin ignored his question. "After this, you need to compensate me with three sticks of tanghulu."

Ye Mo rolled his eyes. Glutton. "Whenever I see you, you are always eating! Are you a pig or a human?"

Little Yin's cries and Ye Mo's anger made everyone but Ye Hua laugh. They did not understand what was happening, but they found the situation hilarious. This made Ye Mo glare at them.

"Everyone but Leader Hua will have their training doubled tomorrow," he rebuked. Everyone immediately shut up, their faces pale.

The intensity of training of all elite disciples was no joke. Doubling that would leave them half-dead at the end of the day.

Wu Xuan'er glared at her husband. "Why did you not stop me from laughing?"

With a wronged expression, Ye Hua helplessly shrugged. He felt the side of his waist being maliciously pinched.

In a lowly voice only her wife could hear, he relented, "Don't tell uncle that I'll cover your part of the training tomorrow."

"That's better." Wu Xuan'er proceeded to give him the sweetest of smiles.

Ye Hua could only kiss her forehead. He actually did not care. He was even slightly relieved now, seeing how playful his wife and uncle are being.

Ever since Little Yin came, she brought with her this warmth and light that inevitably dispersed the gloom of grieving that once enshrouded Ye Clan's Second household...

Yin hopped off the rock and jumped towards the direction of the fight. Ye Mo was beside her; of course, even though he knew of her unbelievable strength, he would not let her come alone.

She covered the entire manor with her divine consciousness. She easily found the flaws in the Ghost Blades attacks that would allow her to successfully sneak attack her.

However, Yin wasn't sure her body could actually deal with the moves she planned on using.

First of all, her current body was that of a four- or five-year-old girl. Even though her muscles, bones and organs were all reconstructed by the yin qi from the Ming Yue Sect's heavenly treasures, it was still a little girl's body that never had real combat experience.

Second, even though her divine consciousness was at the Nascent Divinity Realm, her real cultivation was much lower, only at par or slightly higher than Ye Hua's Foundational Spirit Realm. She doubted if her attacks could actually hurt this woman who was obviously stronger than her white-robed opponents.

Yin could actually decide to pull off what she did back in Ming Yue Sect. With the enemy being a woman, plus Ghost Blade practiced a yin-attributed cultivation technique, it would be easy for Yin to manipulate the qi inside her body causing qi deviation.

However, the premise with this is that Yin should have first touched and inserted her own qi inside the opponent's body. This was the explanation for the fainting spells of the two women from Ming Yue Sect, the one from the hot springs and that one inside the pocket dimension. Those two had once carried Yin in their arms.

Another way to deal with this was for Yin to trigger the yin qi inside Ghost Blade's body and make it explode. However, how strong was the cultivation of this saber-wielding woman?

Doing that would not only destroy Ye Mo's entire manor; even the entire Ye Sect and the properties in its surroundings would be devastated.

One had to remember that the Ye Sect occupied almost one-third of the entire Leaf City. How big of a wreckage would that entail? How many constructions would be annihilated? How many lives would be lost?

She also remembered that there were visitors here from the Qing-whatever family. She knew that killing them, even if it's by accident, would bring about much bigger trouble than necessary.

If she kills some of the Qing people, then later barge in their palace and scam some treasures out of them, wouldn't that be too bad a reflection on her virtuous lady image?

Would that not make her an evil, immoral and dishonorable person no different than ordinary robbers?

Aiya, too troublesome! She could not afford to kill innocents!

In the end, she simply pulled out the poison needles she snatched from the first pest she killed.

Pure yin qi had several transformations. Not only could she transform her qi to death qi and cold qi, with her knowledge of the dao, she could also use it to cause a ripple... and tamper the laws of heavens and earth of this world!

Yang is hard. Yin is soft.

Yang is fast. Yin is slow.

As a once-powerful deity, even with just her current pitiful cultivation, she could make attacks soften, and she could affect speed to slow down!

Inserting her yin qi inside the poison needles, Yin maneuvered to throw the two hidden weapons towards Ghost Blade.

Ghost Blade was being suppressed in the fight against the five guards of the Qing Imperial Family. She was in an extremely bad mood because, given the current situation, it would be easy for her to escape on her own, but she would not be able to take away her future junior martial sister.

With this, she decided to gain some compensation by killing at least two of these Qing dogs before leaving. She would return later with reinforcements to bring her cute junior martial sister to meet their master.

As she was about to slash her saber against the cultivator nearest her, she felt two needles headed her way.

With a sneer, she waved her powerful weapon to protect her body from them. However, as those needles hit her saber, she felt an inexplicable restriction setting on her body. It was as if her body was moving underwater.

"Her movements will slow for two breaths! Attack her now!" she heard a sweet, musical voice from a distance.

She recognized the voice. It was from that little girl with the Absolute Yin Physique. Her future junior martial sister.

Ghost Blade saw one Qing dog swinging a sword towards her neck. Another sword aimed at her heart. A third sword slashed at her waist.

She raised her saber to block the attacks... but before she knew it, she saw the world turn red and spin around her.

In one night, news spread around the entire lands under the rule of the Qing Imperial Family.

The Ghost Blade, a disciple to one of the leaders of the Demonic Faction, a dreaded assassin in all four Territories, died with an incomplete corpse.

All sects, schools, big families and great clans under the Righteous Path celebrated!
