Spirits came with all sorts of abilities mankind could never replicate and man had struggled on how to deal with many of them. Mental and telepathic skills were particularly difficult to defend against. Now that man had the ability to gain these skills, the balance started to tip back in man's favour.
These abilities could be broken down into skills. His first ability was Brainiac. It allowed him to become a mental powerhouse. It was a passive ability that permanently increased his memory and processing abilities.
