Chapter 8 - Once His Face Is Revealed

The crowd was pleasantly surprised and did not expect that. They have thought that since this lady was so arrogant, she could have at least pay another 10, 000 silver spirit stones right? Or perhaps she was so arrogant that no matter who sees the product, one couldn't steal it from her no natter what.

The all customers who had come wore a large coat and a mask with voice changer for secrecy purposes. Even the girl was no exception. Therefore they were wondering about the arrogant female's identity. Her tone of speaking was too audacious as if the world was rotating on her palms. It seemed to them that no matter what plans they concoct to steal the surprise product after, she thinks that she'll be able to effortlessly handle it. It irked them.

Well, regardless of the reason and what they feel, the crowd was eagerly expecting what would happen next.

The female auctioneer flashed a knowing smile before she started speaking.

"The vanishing mountain has been the hottest topic currently. Despite the efforts of the small and major sects alike, they were still at a loss of its sudden appearance and carrying with it was an unfathomable abundant amount of spritual essence! The spritual essence was even richer than the top 3 spiritual mountains of the Five-allied kingdoms combined!"

The audiences' ears perked up and their attention and curiousity was piqued. Some who belong to sects and those who were influencial enough to know, nodded.

"You must be wondering why I mentioned such a news. Honored guests, when the Vanishing Mountain appeared, a group had managed to enter it within those mere 2 minutes!" The auctioner did not mention the bandit's occupation at all since this would lead some troubles.

When the old man heard of the story first-hand from the bandit's boss, he made a deal to the female about telling the happenings as the product's introduction to either the buyer or the public. She agreed on one condition that she must be paid and their identities would still be unknown.

Even though the public are people from some sects and would probably divulge the information, she didn't mind as she was paid. On the road, she ordered her men to lie in order to avoid losing potential money.

She was a miser. A greedy one.

"This group, when escaping from enemies, coincidentally stumbled upon an entrance of the mountain when it first appeared. Therefore they were able to enter and experience it during these short moments!"

The place exploded into whispers and discussions, seemingly not wanting to believe. But would the influencial black auction do such a thing? Lie to earn? Deceive to recieve?

The auctioner waited for the hall to be silent before resuming.

"After walking a short distance inside, they stumbled upon a never-ending spirit stone mine! They managed to scrap a substantial amount, but compared to the amount of the stones inside, it seemed as if the cave only lost a speck of dust and nothing more!"

"When the two minutes finished, an earthquake struck the mountain, killing some of their companions as a result. The survivors put a large distance away from the mountain and suddenly, it disappeared and the place reverted to what it was once; A wide grassy plain! However..." Her skill in speaking was top-notch and the people hung at her every word. She kept them in the suspence and her expresion was unfathomable.

"However, where the used to be approximated vanishing mountain's middle spot lay a figure." When she said that, two servants appeared beside the case and unlocked it.

A white-fog emerged from the case as if enhancing its mysterious impression.

After the fog was lifted did they finally have a clear look at the figure.

The audience was struck speechless and even the most deadly murderers weren't an exception.

They were captivated of the scene where a young male was, although binded inside the case, was peacefully standing with his head slightly down.

They could perfectly see his perfect features.

He had a height that was appropiate for his age; The slightly messy black hair, which did not go farther than the shoulder; The thick eyelashes that gave an enchanting feeling while he closed his eyes; Well-shaped nose; And the pale thin lips that made every woman to warm it with their own.

Although his white clothes tried hard to hide the treasure inside, it could not escape the scrutiny of the people and found out that the boy had a well-built body, and a pure and delicate skin that even the most beautiful woman could not match.

It wasn't an exaggeration that his beauty could topple nations and ruin cities.

The people was enthralled and their hearts were pounding furiously when the boy slowly opened his eyes.

His eyes were crystal clear and had a captivating golden color.

The females couldn't contain it anymore and let out a lovely shriek.

Most of them did not notice but as soon as Argen opened his eyes, his body went stiff and his eyes went wide open in shock and confusion.

When Argen was still locked in the case and without knowing that the case was sound-proof and durable, he struggled and shouted for help until he was exhausted. Therefore, when he closed his eyes to take a breather, coincidentally, the crowd saw him with his eyes closed. When he slowly opened them, it seemed far too dramatic that they were enchanted to the core.

Argen's heart was in a panic and sweat started to converge on his forehead. He did not dare to speak, afraid of the unknown.

'WHAT'S WITH THE CROWD?! WHERE'S THE OLD MAN?!'

The auctioneer calmed the crowd before continued to speak.

"He is a surprise product for a reason. We do not know of his origins, identity, and power as when the group delivered him, he was unconscious the whole time and couldn't pry some information open. The group who auctioned him off couldn't continue to investigate further about him because of their lack of power." Even though that really wasn't the case why the bandits did that, the black auction house concocted that to provide a good reasoning.

"I can handle him" The highest bidder let out a triumphant laugh that introduced irritation, jealousy, and regret from the people.

The auctioneer smiled and gestured the two servants to close the case back and prepare the product to be given to the buyer.

"Hey...!" Argen's words were cut short when the lid closed. "Damn!"

Discussions then resounded throughout the room. Mostly, the voices were from the females.

"Did you hear his 'hey'? His voice was so cool! I should've have bought him! I still have 20, 000 more silver stones than that b*tch!"

"Dammit! If we had bought him, our brothel would finally claim the top throught the kingdoms!"

"Father! Father! He's the person I chose to marry and continue our lineage! Get him for me please?"

"If I could have a one night stand with him, I would die happy."

The bald female, with the bandit's second-in-command with her side, smiled.

"That boy will surely find us in the future for this. Even though we somewhat saved his life, our help costed him his dignity and...virginity." The female let out a complicated expression.

The bandit at her side secretly rolled his eyes. 'You did it for money, not because you pity him. Help? Psh.'

However he could not let these thoughts out so he asked a question regarding about her statement. "You mean he'll take revenge?"

"If he could find us and uncover some information, then maybe? We couldn't keep him even if we wanted to. His appearance and unknown identity is a living time bomb." Her answer made the bandit nod.

System Association.

"Sir, we have found a new replacement for the deceased former SA's Informant. Although it may take time for it to get used from its new post, there is nothing major"

Inside a white room where there was a desk on the side where the only window to floor's spot was, a grim middle aged man was currently flipping some digital documents.

He did not lift his head to see the speaker and continued his job while he spoke. "Have you extracted the inputted files during this six months from the former SAI?"

"Yes sir! The former SAI was very diligent and input it to a different drive everyday, therefore it was kept safe and sound. The rankings at the end of the year won't get affect because of this tragedy"

The one sitting on the desk nodded. "How's the investigation about its death and System no.901's disappearance coming up?"

"About System #901. Before the SAI died, it written a report on the different drive as soon as the system newcomer died. Therefore, his trainer had already begun to choose the 19th System #901 because the headquarters had deemed the former as deceased since the SAIs had been never been wrong before. If it was wrong, then his chance of survival would be very low and not long after, 18th System #901 would finally disappear in body and soul"

"Even with this mindset, the investigations are still continuing for verifucation and no major clues has been found yet." The speaker paused for a moment before speaking.

"The headquarters will dispatch physical investigators in Hiarga for the case, tomorrow. System #901's death is highly suspicious and connected about the former SAI's soul eradication. Perhaps the SA will find a trace of it when they are inside Hiarga. If both are still alive, the SA will do everything to help them. But their posts will not be the same as before, and there the large possibility they will kick them out and leave them to fate." He finished.

Once you got kick out, the SA will cast a powerful spell onto you to avoid devolving away information about the association. Therefore, the SA does not worry about its confidentiality.

"You may go now. Inform me when you discover more information or clues about the case." The middle-aged man waved his hands dismissively and continued with his work.

When the speaker left, the person remaining inside the room, sighed.

Tanon Kingdom.

"Come on. Smile for me~" Inside a luxurious carriage was a seductive female with two bodyguards sitting beside her. Parallel to them was the tied up Argen with a frown sitting with an indifferent man at his side.

"B*tch" His thoughts unknowingly slipped out to the outside world.

"HUH? WHAT DID YOU SAY BRAT?!" She along with her two bodyguards pointed their weapons at him.

'B*tch' Argen thought and did not reply to her threats. He looked at the window and refused to take another glance at the girl.

The reason was, well, he was intimidated and felt slightly scared.

'Weapons...This is the first time I am threatened with weapons'

Because he was from the peaceful planet Earth in his past life, he did not encounter this. It wasn't a wonder though.

"Call my sister that one more time, and I'll sell you to the gay's brothels" The indifderent man at Argen's side let out a cold laugh which made Argen secretly shiver and break in a cold sweat.

The female pouted at his brother's words before switching her sight at Argen. "What's your name? Where did you come from? What are your plans" She asked in an enchanting voice and made her fingers onto Argen's face. It was obvious he was hitting on him.

Even though he was afraid, Argen dodged her advances. He was irritated and subconciously let out a distinguishable murmur. "Its none of your b*tchness"

"You...!"

"DAMMIT IT SIS! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! LET'S SELL HIM!" Her brother, which was obviously jealous with Argen's looks, let out a roar.

"Brother we just bought him!"

"Then the least we could do is make him into a slave!"

"No! The branding scar of the slaves will ruin his skin! I want to have..." She then whispered her next words her brother. "*** with him still having his perfect features."

Her brother turned red in embarrassment. She really is a...

"Fine! Do you what you want! But I don't want to hear him telling another fact...no, l-lie about you!" The female did not ponder more about her brother's somewhat insulting concern, therefore she did not get it and let out a smile.
