Later in the afternoon, the clear pleasant sky suddenly turned grey and the pitter patter of rain started to dissipate the heat.
At first, it was just a gentle shower of numerous droplets. But as time passed by, the pellets of water began to create scattered paddles on the garden pavement.
"Looks like it will take some time for the rain to stop." Butler Quan said as he looked up to the sky.
"Are you sure, sir?" Europa looked at him with eyes full of disappointment.
"Yes, Miss Europa. Look at the clouds above. They are still dark and heavy."
The little girl then turned her gaze to the sky. Seeing that the clouds were indeed dark, she frowned. How can they go on a boat ride?
"Don't be sad, little Miss. You can always go on a boat ride on your next visit here." Butler Quan said, trying to cheer Europa up.
However, it seemed like Butler Quan's words failed to reach Europa as the little girl continued frowning.
