Once Xing Yin had understood what the manager had instructed the hotel staff, she took a few steps backward and moved closer to the hall's door. She must not allow them to detain her at all cost. So, she stared straight into the manager's eyes and spoke.
"No, you can't do that. That's illegal detention. Yes, I have no proof that I am Xing Yin at the moment. But you don't have solid evidence to prove that I am not who I claim myself to be, right?" Xing Yin said with a barely concealed smirk on her face.
After hearing her words, the crowd of guests and hotel staff started to have different opinions about the situation.
"She's right! She is innocent until proven guilty!" Yelled one male guest.
"Looks can be deceiving though!" Another guest spoke out loud.
"Maybe someone from Xing Airlines can verify her identity!"
"Uh-huh! Mr. Manager should ask someone from Xing Airlines to confirm. The lady seemed sincere when she said she's the daughter of Xing Airlines' CEO."
