Ynoir looked around the comfortable rest area. Not that he didn't want to help Dye, but he was immediately transported over to this rest area. Recovery potions were everywhere like it was a brunch of some sort. Slender wine glasses filled with red and blue liquid were everywhere and there was even a dummy for him to practice on. Your was elated. For a long time he was stuck at the Creeper level, never advancing to Ninja nor Assassin. He couldn't find that little spark in himself for a long time, even during the years he was asleep.
As a creeper, he should choose a weapon base, but [Passion] which was his for a long time, was a double weapon. Both basic weapons it could be, but after the owner of [Passion] found what he or she wanted to be, only then would it slowly transform into the weapon that suited it's owner. Of course, sometimes it could be a fusion, but it was really rare.
Just as he was about to get to it, Ynoir saw a blue holographic screen show a familiar figure.
"Dye?" He couldn't help but say her name out loud. Dye seemed tired and he could see sweat dotting her forehead. Dye was never tired (Ynoir brain filter), this was the first time he saw her very tired like that. When he didn't see Dye with him, he thought that Dye was transported to the same type of place like him but it didn't seem so. Her eyes were showing signs of fatigue. Although it made her seem rather charming, he was rather worried.
Almost nothing would faze Dye. Probably him and Lin Mao trying to cook something edible or Julian advancing on Lin Mao and she walked in into that exact scene in all the awkward glory. It wasn't their fault their food tasted bad. Actually, it was just Dye's food that was too good. Their usually good food seemed like trash compared to that (Dye's weird designs).
Anyways, he was really worried. He was genuinely worried for Dye. All this time, Dye seemed like some fantasy person popping out of nowhere. He knew that she came from somewhere as she did live in the Begginer's Village. He didn't even know why it was named the Beginner's Village, it was like the whole thing was a game! Ynoir remembered that screen and a lot of weird things that Dye could do. It was out of the ordinary and even he couldn't figure out what it was.
On the screen, Dye was fighting the armored puppet. The puppet was fast and Dye escaped every time. She could cast spells on the place with no armor but it didn't do much damage. Even the weakest of puppets learned that fast. If it could develop a human like consciousness, what a terrifying matter a group of puppets could be. Ynoir remembered what that nasty man did, controlling puppets to get ahold of him. No one even suspected him! Everyone looked at the victim and ignored the suspect.
Ynoir didn't hold a grudge towards that person for stealing everything that had happened to him. Instead he was angry at that person for deceiving the whole Elven Clan for his selfish wants. As the true Elven Ancestor, Ynoir didn't like how his people's minds were filled with that person's lies as the most powerful existence in the Elven Clan.
On the other hand, Dye was currently struggling. Rings appeared in her vision and she all her attacks would be redirected to the rings. It was too OP! Those spots were the puppet's weak spots. As soon as she hit them, cracks started to appear on the armour! It worked!
Poor Ynoir, he never knew that the screen he was watching wasn't the current view, but instead the recording of the previous fight.
