Jaglash looked at Dye who had her eyebrows furrowed. He instantly felt a dangerous aura permeating through the air. Jaglash couldn't help but cower and hide behind Ynoir. Ynoir was used to Dye's love hate relationship with the system, so he just glanced at the cowering Jaglash and looked back at Dye who was...
"Hey Dye, stop it, your killing intent is...," Ynoir thought for a while, but he still couldn't find the correct word, "Dye...Jaglash is scared." In the end, he opted for something more attention grabbing. It wasn't sure that Dye would turn around and pay attention to them if he just insulted her killing intent. As Dye said, killing intent could be a weapon. Hitting right on the bullseye, Dye turned around and quickly worried over Jaglash.
"Jaglash! Are you alright?" Dye looked at Jaglash's figure, looking if anything was wrong. Jaglash smiled awkwardly as he said, "No...nothing." However, Dye wouldn't let it go that easily. She looked at Jaglash intently, finding that he really was afraid. She was a bit embarassed as she knew of that habit of hers. She should stop doing it...
"So...Dye, what are you irritated about?" Ynoir broke the ice. It was immensely uncomfortable seeing Dye, the leader, always dazed off thinking to herself. She rarely shared her opinions with them. Ynoir didn't know that Dye was getting used to the thought that they were actually living beings instead of NPCs she created (except for Kaen).
Dye smiled sheepishly, "We retrieved what I wanted to retrieve, but it seems...they are all sealed," Dye showed the log to Ynoir and Jaglash. Jaglash was once again surprised because of this moving semi-transparent screen, but forced himself to see the rotating model of the firearms set they just took out of the box, "What are these things?"
Dye clicked on the [Defying Meteor Double Guns A (Right Hand)] and showed the detailed statistics to the two. Ynoir was surprised to see that the detailed statistics were not available to read. He showed it to Dye who just nodded and looked at him helplessly. Although they could see the statistics, they couldn't see the prompts that Dye was given to by the system, so after letting them see the statistics she had to explain why it was so.
"The set is sealed, and to unseal them...we need [Earth Fire Metal] and it has to be smelted as well," Dye said, showing a picture of the [Earth Fire Metal] from the system shop catalog, "Buying it costs 2000 gold."
"But didn't Julian give you 20% of his gang's lifetime wealth?" Ynoir queried. It was impossible for them to not have a lot of money.
"Sadly...it's all bound gold, what's the use of all those gold sitting pretty in my inventory," Dye muttered, the dangerous aura started to appear once again, "Does he not know that his gold is bound gold?"
Jaglash squinted his eyes at the [Earth Fire Metal] model in front of him. The model was extremely detailed and there was nothing different about it from the original thing (obviously). The metal was fiery red in colour with some rust on its surface, however, the rust somehow emitted a shy glow of gold and sometimes purple. Jaglash squinted his eyes even further that Dye doubted he could actually see through that tiny gap.
"Jaglash, what was it?" Dye asked the man who immediately widened his eyes in surprise.
"Ah!"
"Jaglash?" Dye was worried. Did something happen? Nothing happened to her or Ynoir when they looked at the [Earth Fire Metal].
"I-I know this thing!" Jaglash exclaimed, but not too loudly in fear of attracting the patrolling guards' attention, "there is a mine full of these things back in Gund. We have mined a considerable amount, but other than decoration, we don't know what else to do with it. Right now, it is occupied with Fire and Earth elemental beasts we can't mine more."
...
...
...!!!
"You should've asked him first. He should have some connections to get these kinds of resources," Ynoir cocked his head towards Jaglash who just blushed in embarassment.
"This metal is called Ioure (ee-ou-rei) in Gund, usually used to make chandeliers or torch holders due to their beautiful colour," Jaglash explained, "If father knew of this, he would be very happy to find another useful material. This is a huge contribution to our empire. If you ever visit us, we will welcome you with the utmost hospitality."
Ynoir curtly nodded, while Dye was stressed out at the number of [lifeblood essence] she could've saved if she knew of it. She just glanced at Jaglash and said, "Okay then." without looking at him seriously. Jaglash, seeing that his idol ignored him, almost burst out into tears, but he kept it all in. After all, he was still very weak, and everyone near his idol should be very strong. After finishing the set, he would be strong enough to stand with his idol. When that time comes, he will stand with confidence and work together with Dye.
But that would take a long time...but to not burden his idol, the sacrifice was worth it.
