It was too...over the top...to put 10 soldiers to guard the secret door was it? Dye was sure that it was just a secret door connecting the underground residence and the patrol squad's camp. The underground residence sure was lavish. The black door, if one paid more attention, were studded with obsidian.
Tears streamed down Dye's face as she thought of he group's condition. While a mere patrol squad leader was enjoying his life to the fullest, she, the creator, was suffering from lack of money.
Okay, probably not really lack of money, but there was a limit to how much money she could retrieve from the inventory every hour, and if she needed to take out more, she couldn't take out money in the next hour. Though, the amount of money she didn't take out in an hour would be added to how much money she could take in the next hour.
Dye could take at most one Gold coin every hour, and she had not taken any money for four days, so she could take 96 Gold coins out right now. The last time she took out a gold coin was to pay the exit fee at the start of the journey. Julian's money stash also increased their gold coins, but similarly, she could only transfer 5 Gold coins every hour and only managed to increase her group's Gold coins by 75.
When the guard said a password, the 10 guards immediately let him in. Dye cast Levitation on both him and Ynoir as they floated above the soldiers and slipped through the tall black door.
Although the door seemed to only fit one person, it was only the width. The patrol squad leader was probably too conceited and made the height taller than normal, thinking that nothing would happen. It was only true if they weren't there. It would be true if Dye didn't pick Elementalist as her class.
Though, Dye was the creator, and her knowledge was boundless.
The door creaked shut as Dye put Ynoir down on the stone floor. The floor itself was decorated with precious stones. If a city's underground residence was already this flourishing, then, what would the Empires' or the Kingdoms' residences be? After landing, Ynoir immediately hid in the shadows, surpressing his aura to the minimum.
If this was the previous Ynoir, he would be too proud to surpress his aura, but Dye had lectured him the importance of playing the pig to catch the tiger. Even the proud Ynoir had to relent in front of Dye.
The soldier walked to the platform in the middle of the residence. The system was currently taking the residence's map, assimilating with the residence. Detailed maps were harder to assimilate with, so it might take some time. Dye didn't want to charge into this place without any preparations after all.
"Ynoir, go check the platform." -Dye
"Got it!" -Ynoir
The soldier disappeared after inputting some things to the stone slab on the platform. They got nearer to the platform and the system immediately gave Dye some information. The system's other functions were still working, only the map was dormant.
[Teleportation Platform (High-Grade Tool) (Gold) (Level 1)]
[A tool to hasten travelling. Can be used anywhere as long as travelling is required. This teleportation platform is a gift from Gund Empire's Second Prince. Level 1 teleportation platforms can only cover a short distance. This platform is the mother platform. The stone slab connected the mother platform to the other platforms and the space.]
[Durability : 800/810]
Dye rose an eyebrow at that. These masters sure know how to live lavishly. Before she could take another step, the system alerted her.
[Combustion Traps (High-Grade Tool) (Silver) (Level 0)]
[A specialty trap from Gund Empire. Gifts from the Empire's Second Prince. A Combustion Trap could burn the mortal flesh. Host is advised not to activate the traps. System will arrange a route for host to follow.]
[P.S. Ynoir will not be affected by the Combustion Traps, but it is advised not to alert the people inside the residence.]
"Ynoir, stop in your tracks." -Dye
"Why?" -Ynoir
"I'll send you the information now." -Dye
These masters were too paranoid for their own good...
