Chapter 4 - Charming Creeper

At this moment, the man's face was dangerously close to Dye's. Dye could see the man's ruby red eyes more clearly, and the long white lashes that framed those red eyes. The man had a sharp nose and thin lips. His not too thick nor too thin eyebrows fit into his painting-like face. Sadly, it only lasted for a moment.

"You're...weird," the man said.

Dye really wanted to turn back time and wake the man up more brutally. Maybe a punch on the face would do...or...maybe she could wake him up by boiling him and make him beg? Maybe she watched too many movies in her free time, but this man really did not know how to talk to a lady.

"Excuse me?" veins were about to pop out from Dye's forehead, "old man, do you know how to talk to a lady?"

This time, it was the man's turn to be annoyed, "Old man? Don't you think that I don't notice you checking out my face earlier? Even for a split second?" Honestly, he was only an old man in age, but his appearance was somewhat around Dye's age. He didn't want to talk about why he became such a...peculiar existence.

Dye's cheeks reddened, "Who would want to check out someone as unattractive as you! What are you doing being so close to me anyways?"

The man gritted his teeth. He wanted to take off the hood covering his face right now, but his identity was supposed to be kept a secret. He was a runaway after all. Even if this Elementalist who saved his was rather irritating, he didn't want to implicate her into his problems.

"I'm just checking your soul," he said defensively, however, Dye was enraged by this statement.

With a bright red face, Dye glared at him, "Y-you pervert! That's worse than checking out one's face!" She had designed the soul to be...bare...because she had never thought of this occurence. When she designed the game, the soul was supposed to be a private, player only thing. To think that someone would try to see her soul the very first day she entered Hyouka...

"P-pervert!?!" Even though he was old in age, his mentality was still way younger than his age, so he felt insulted when Dye called him a pervert, "It's not like I can see anything other than a black void!"

Dye froze in place. Her Spirit was already much higher than him and she had this cheat system with her. The system wouldn't dare expose itself rashly, so of course this guy can't see her soul.

She sighed before glaring at the man again, "Y-you can't see anything, but attempting to see m-my soul without permission...unforgivable! I am sure you're just a perverted old man!"

The man looked at her, sending chills down her spine, "once you see my face, you won't be able to get away from me, otherwise you'll get killed. Do you really want to see it?"

Dye stuck out her tongue, being the fifteen years old girl she was, "I want to see how plain you look!" In actuality, that small peek from before already revealed that the man's appearance was above average, but she didn't really think that he's handsome...or...maybe? She did say that his face was like a painting...

"Alright...," the man didn't bother warning her anymore. She chose death over safety so he would grant her what she wanted. After seeing his face, being with him was dangerous, let alone not being with him.

The hood was opened, revealing a beautiful face underneath. The man's sharp eyes stared at Dye, as his pointy ears reddened. Probably because he was used to hiding his face, he was a little nervous when Dye saw his face. It was indeed painting like, and his white hair just made him more mysterious.

"So?" He let a small smirk appear on his lips.

"I still don't know your name," Dye said, but actually in her mind, she was grateful to the numerous movies she watched. All the handsome men helped her in this...natural poker face...against handsome men.

"It's Tytem, Ynoir Tytem," the elven man said.

'Whoa..., not only is he handsome, he's that ancestral elven NPC too! How charming...hehehe...,' Dye's face darkened.
