"For the Fallen." Kyera chanted and the rumble in response was loud enough to shake the earth. As they broke into the clearing by the forest there were guards battling the hoard who had breached the castle walls, but not the palace itself. Wild ones led by a familiar dark lion had joined the fray, trying to defend the main palace. Maids and servants were trying to get to safety, and close and lock doors, barricade them so no one could pass through.
"Talis, breach the walls, get inside the palace start leading people Cian. You can get them out the same way we rescued the Empress. The rest of you, let them feel your furry." Kyera roared and the serpent and his friends shot off like the speed of light. The Dark ones saw them, saw the oncoming army and the battle became even more fierce.
No one noticed Kyera freeze, her eyes were drawn to a single point on the palace wall. The anger boiled as she took the blade and hurled it at the wall as hard as she could. The rope holding the bodies there broke, and they fell to the earth. There was a moment when the world stood still, not even the battle existed in the few seconds that followed the enraged tigress began ripping through her foes, her eyes locked on the mess of red hair that drew her here. Stolen her child, cause this fight, taken her mate… for that creature...the fires of hatred burned.

"Damn damn damn, I thought you said that the village would hold her back." Growled a Dark One as he looked up from the fight to see the on coming soldiers. Kyera and her men were already breaching the garden, helping the Palace guard to fight back the majority of their claiming party.
"No, I said it might. She has a bleeding heart. She would not have left till she searched out every survivor." Primrose shouted as she fought the heavyweight tiger in front of her. His belly was covered in scars, he was older, but strong and wise. She could smell the stink of poison long healed on his fur.
"Seems like your pet tiger did his job too well." He shot back as she snapped the neck of the lion, tossing his body aside.
"No matter, we knew it would come down to a battle here. I had simply hoped she would be weaker, more tired by the time it came to it." Prim replied as she turned seeing the losing battle behind her. There was nothing she could say or do… she needed more time. "Into your hands I commend my fate…" She whispered closing her eyes and focusing her cry for help. Within seconds orbs of light appeared, and spun wildly. "Revival Come to me." her call sent the shifters scurrying back to her side, disengaging the enemy who was too off put to follow into touch range with those orbs. It was clear they were not just there to look pretty and the grin on Prim's face was even more unnerving. "You dare clash swords with the children of Fate?"
From those spinning orbs the armies watched in horror as beasts of light sprang forth and roared as they stretched their claws and barbed tails. Messenger of the gods ready to do battle and destroy them. Fear struck deep into the hearts of the Palace guard and the two armies that followed Kyera, but it only had a second before she met Prim's eyes and slowly tilted her head to the side. Prim got the weirdest feeling she had just made the biggest mistake and indeed…. She had.
"I dare clash claw to sword with that creature who deems it her right to mess in a mortal quarrel. You wish to bring the ethereal into the Mortal realm HMMM? Then let us truly open the gates." Kyera replied as she raised her hands into the air, the shadows swirled around her. The last barrier broke, the power she had been containing since childhood rushed from within her. The sound or lack of it was deafening as if all air left the lungs of every living thing in the same moment. Then came the sound. A roar as the shadows opened and dark shapes, the warriors of Moria poured from the gap, Kyera's eyes opened to show two deep purple eyes staring at the world around her, no pupil, no sign of the human woman within her. The glow of purple at the edges of her skin faded to the deepest of shadows as she pointed her hand at Prim. "We will see who shall tremble. Whip the Fates, leave her to me." Kyera ordered and three tigers led the assault, and suddenly the clash of light and dark commenced above their head, at the same time the fear of the armies died and the battle on the ground intensified as the shock wore off. As each warrior fell, their souls flew back into the gates of Moria, away from the battle. Noone there to receive their souls, and thus no way to pass back through the gates.
