"I am to. Thankfully your wife sent for Shaman Half Eye. He had me feeling my legs within days of him arriving. I never dreamed it was possible." Eve smiled and slowly spun around, but Mordakai never let go of her hand.
"I am glad, thank you Half Eye, I don't think we have officially met?" Clovis offered holding a hand out to shake it.
"No, we have not. I wanted to be at your wedding but unfortunately I was unable to make it. I am Shaman Half Eye." He shook his hand and smiled. He was rather dashing despite his garish clothing. No one would say anything anyway, he was the Godly Healer afterall.
"No harm done. I am sure My Princess, Kyera will be pleased to see you. She has spoke of you often." Clovis admitted as the pair began to talk. Raina wandered off to get her grandmother a drink. Standing for so long had tired her a bit and Daddy was too busy with the Shaman.
Raina saw the servants with the glasses and smiled. "Miss, can I please have that tea pot?" Raina asked pointing to a specific tea set. She knew this pot would have her tea in it. It was a blend of calming and warm black tea blend. It would also have cherry fruits in it for flavor.
The servant frowned a bit but took a small tray and set it and a cup on it. "Careful Princess." She warned and Raina chuckled taking the tray. It felt like nothing to her. The sword training had strengthened her quite a bit.
"Thank you for your concern." Raina replied, then she turned away and gracefully gilded back toward her family. She felt invisible again, and it was nice. With the Frost Royals and the Shadow Veil family here no one noticed a little Princess and a tray of tea. What she didn't expect was to literally bump into a careless woman.
She was pretty, and her smile stunned Raina for a moment. This woman was older, but her hair was elegantly swirled up into a twirled bun with delicate braids tucked in. Her bright blue eyes were fierce, but lovely her facial features reminded her of Mommy.
"Hello, Princess Raina." The woman greeted her, and Raina felt a cold chill down her spine. There was something she didn't like about how this woman looked at her. Then she remembered seeing this woman before, the day Kyera became her Mommy.
"Hello, Miss. I am sorry I ran into you, but you must pay attention to your surroundings." Raina said carefully polite but ice cold. The woman raised a brow.
"My name is Akira Mei and you, child must really learn to Veil your thoughts better. You wear your distaste poorly." The woman replied and Raina frowned.
"That is…" Raina began but a hand landed on her shoulder.
"None of your business, Akira." Half Eye spoke with a cherriness that was almost unsettling. Akira's eyes flashed with surprise at seeing the old man. She adjusted and smoothed her long skirt.
"Shameous…" Akira greeted him only to earn a fierce glare.
"Shadowed Shaman Half Eye to you, Akira Mei. I suggest you leave Princess Raina be and scurry back to your human." Half Eye warned her, his voice full of venom but the brilliant smile on his face showed none of his annoyance or contempt for this woman. If you didn't hear the words themselves, you would think he was flattering her. Raina slipped her hand into his as Daxin padded up next to them in wolf form and bumped his great wolf head into Raina's hand.
"You have been warned, Akira." Daxin growled in forest tongue and Half Eye nodded.
"Come now, Daxin. I was just introducing myself to my grand daughter." Akira replied watching for the child's response. Raina turned pale.
