"You have no right to advance on him or I. Sansor I will not fight you." Kyera spoke cool and connected but there was a clear warning in her words.
"Then let the spinless human prove he is worthy." Sansor growled before shifting form to the artic cat that was his second form. Sansor growled a warning before rearing back his paw to knock her to the side. He expected Kyera to move or change but she didn't have that intention.
Clovis moved quickly, pulling Kyera behind himself ready to take the hit. However, a blur of pure black lept and grasped the Prince's arm, tearing Sansor back and hurling him away from his charges. The second panther standing at their feet hissing at Sansor as her mate defended.
Kyera looked up at Clovis in surprise, realizing he had risked quite the injury, covering her body with his own. She was extremely relieved that those long claws hadn't sunk into Clovis' skin, but found herself touched by his protection. Lya and Ryo, the Panther pair stood still facing down the angry Sansor. "Is that proof enough for you?" Kyera demanded as she stepped out from behind Clovis, still wrapped in his arms. "My mate doesn't need your approval, Sansor. He doesn't need to be one of us, or carry a hunting prowess. I am the hunter, I am the one whom you have approved of. He is my protection, My peace of mind ,and my lover. Yet in my eyes, he's more than proven himself." Clovis stared blankly down at the woman in his arms, boldly declaring him her lover. He didn't mind it, afterall it was true, but it being true and hearing it from her lips… felt different.
Sansor turned and paced back and forth before Ryo who had no intentions of letting him pass. The Panther matching the leopards pace and pattern so the leopard couldn't get to his mate or charges. Sansor tried to intimidate the Panther ,roaring in his face. The panther's expression was akin to a human raising an eyebrow as if to ask 'what's his deal?'.
"Enough." called a loud female voice from behind them. Her voice strong and powerful as a raging storm but with notes of the prettiest wind. Kyera turned to the sound and knelt, Clovis quickly following suit. "Kyera apparently knows more than you, Nephew, as to what that symbolism means." called the voice of the Matriarch.
Clovis glanced up to see a woman walking towards them tough for a moment, he would have sworn she was a fae. Long flowing white hair, that would lay in coils at her feet should it not be braided into its long whip. Soft silver eyes, pale skin as if carved from the smoothest jade. She was beautiful, enchanting. A crown sat upon her brow, and a single flower seeming to sit upon her chest. The petals of silvers and whites blended. Her delicate dress simple and brought out the beauty of the flower.
"My lady Mother." Kyera greeted softly, from one knee. Those silver eyes lit on her and glowed with warmth as did the tired smile on her lips.
"My, my Princessa Kyera Mei! You look ravishing." The Queen mother walked forward and hugged her. There was a sweet motherly nature that enveloped Kyera in kindness and warmth. "Wow let me look at you… you have lost weight! We must feed you better and oh dear your Ice cold! Someone go get this child a winter robe!" The Matriarch barked orders as she let go of Kyera and looked to Clovis who was mesmerized by the beauty before him and the striking resemblance in facial features between his wife and this woman.
"Thank you, My Lady Mother." Kyera yielded knowing she was frozen. She would never get use to these temperatures.
"Oh of course, but must you call me 'My lady Mother'? It is so formal. Why cant you just call me Crystalsa or Mom?" The Matriarch nagged and and Kyera couldn't help but smile.
"Alright, Mom I must introduce my Mate." Kyera began and Crystalsa's eyes became a touch saddened and Kyera knew she had heard. "This is Clovis of the Dancing Wind palace."
