Chapter 349 - Getting Lost Part 2

Without her bidding her body morphed and turned human before him. Her body covered in the soft silver cloth the shadows could form in the water. It was beautiful and accented every inch of her ivory skin. A soft blush crept across her face as she looked up at him. Her heart beat fast as he looked down at her. Kyera's lips forming a small nervous o shape. Those golden eyes, pupils dilated from the moment passing between them. He had two choices. Let it go or capture the moment.

His lips claimed her own, his lips pressed to the woman in the river with him. There was something unspoken passing between their hearts through the conduit of their skin. It passed like a thunderstorm, lighting up patches and making them whole.

Kyera got lost in his kiss, her arms slipping around his chest pulling him closer. He kissed her deeper. His tongue coaxing its way into her mouth tasting her. The shadows cast a mist over the pair as they got tangled in one another.

His hands traveled over her sides, caressing her skin, exploring the beauty under him. Her hands gently resting on his shoulders taking in the warm form under her hands as the water flowed around them both. Kyera's mind was on fire, unable to care if the shadows covered them or not. Everywhere he touched was a new sensation, something to explore and she was surprised to find she wanted to. She wanted this kiss, those touches everything he was giving to her.

"Clovis if we… I have never… ummm" Kyera whispered breathing shallow and quick like caught in a snare. She couldn't help, but look away as the blush covered her cheeks and moved down her neck. Clovis froze for a moment, looking down into her face. His free hand gently guided her hair from her face. There was a sense of confusion and surprise there.

"I thought…" he whispered knowing she would be able to finish the comment.

"I am a tigress… we mate for life. I wanted to be a wife… not a mistress so I waited." Kyera explained barely able to make herself say those things aloud. Her heart felt stifled. He kissed her again leaning down to her ear, brushing his lips across her ear as his body shifted to be on top of her.

His hands touched and caressed her showing her how he felt about her little secret. The sense of belonging and love built and broke over her, causing soft pleasured sounds from them both. The storm took both their minds, erasing the ability to think of anything but their connection. The way she felt under him the only anchor to this world for him now. This woman, Kyera, his woman.

"I am honored to be your life mate. My father be damned I love you." he whispered before their bodies became one. She clung to him, giving herself up to him. He took his time, tenderly savoring her, kissing away those tears and encouraging the moans and soft whispers.

When they finished he held her close, letting the water race over their skin. The shadows hiding them as they recovered. Kyera's mind stuck on his words. Three little words she never expected to hear again.

Clovis however, gently set her in the water. His hands carefully washed her skin clean in the cooler water, now that they were further from the hot spring. There was a loving intimacy that was almost more than the act itself. His actions causing her to blush, allowing him to do as he pleased, tending to her. Once she was clean, he placed a tender kiss to her neck, wrapping her in his arms again. Her thin dress the only separation between their skin.

"Clovis… we… we need to get back." She whispered softly, honestly needing to inspect her feelings deeper. There was so much she had to think about. Mainly what was this feeling deep in her chest? Why did she feel as though there was no where else she would rather be?

"Yes, we do, My Wife." He replied loving the way those words tasted on his lips. His heart still lost in the afterglow of their moment. Unwilling to lose contact with her, Clovis took her hand and helped her to her feet. Kyera smiled thankful for it, her legs weak from their activities. He smiled, feeling pride at the way she blushed and looked down, her hand holding tight to his upper arm.

"Thank you." She whispered and he smirked sweeping her up off her feet, cradling her in his arms.

"I think, perhaps, I should take responsibility for my wife." He purred into her ear before heading back toward camp.

"Clovis, I can walk." Kyera tried to protest but he frowned bringing his lips down to her neck biting lightly at the soft flesh of her neck.

"What was that?" He whispered softly "Who?" He asked hinting at what had offended him. The gentle pain enough to make her realize he took her seriously. It was surprising how much like a alpha his temperament became now that she was his wife. The Primal instincts of a mate quickly became a woman's safe haven, and Kyera was no different.

"Dearest…" She whispered back, her voice lightly purring. A smirk curved his lips.

"Better, My Dear." He praised kissing her lightly as a reward. To her embarrassment, Kyera's tummy growled, warning him she had not been fed in a while. "Lets get you back to camp. I am sure our daughter would love to have dinner with us and your Protectors are most likely looking for you." He whispered.
