The business itself was beautiful and well made. The wooden walls were decorated with flowing fabric and strings of beads, but there were not very many windows. Women were dressed well and though, the outfits were showy it wasn't uncommon at tea houses for the waitresses to show off a little to get better pay. Kyera followed him to the booth in the corner and lowered herself onto a pillow in front of the low table.
She settled back onto the pillow pile beside her as Clovis sat a little stiffly across from her. Kyera couldn't help but chuckle as he looked around the room as if trying to identify the decore. Not for the first time this eve, she wondered if Clovis had chosen this place intentionally or if he knew what kind of establishment he had chosen. The more she watched him the more she figured he had no idea.
A woman walked over and smirked. She had long red hair falling in feathered curls around her bare shoulders. Her white skin was shown off by a crimson kimono tied loosely, giving them both decent glimpses of her pale, voluptuous breasts. The most alluring smile was cast at the Prince who had a sudden moment of realization, and suddenly… he almost wished he could just disappear. His eyes dashed over to Kyera who had the decency to look away, her cheeks blushed a soft pink.
"Welcome Fourth Prince, how can I… Serve you?" She asked her voice a soft pleasant purr. Her hand came to rest on the table, leaning her pretty form forward on the table. Clovis tensed, knowing what she meant and having no idea how to respond. After several seconds, Kyera smiled softly at her and leaned gently against Clovis as if she was his girl.
"Fourth Prince… I'm more in the mood for simple fare. I seem to have misremembered this place. Forgive me please?" She asked looking away as though horribly ashamed, Kyera felt her cheeks grow pink from her efforts to seem embarrassed. " Would you let me make it up to you? I know a place where we can dine while the sun sets… it is beautiful." Kyera purred softly, giving him a gentle demure look. Clovis felt his heart pound in his chest for a moment as he looked into her golden eyes.
"If you prefer it, Lady Kyera. I would very much like to see the city through your eyes." Clovis replied with a smile. His expression was almost doting on her and caused a soft warmth in Kyera's chest. He was thankful she offered him to help him escape. If it wasn't for her this would have been much harder to slip out of elegantly.
"Oh but we have plenty of simple food for your enjoyment, Miss. If you are not into more Elegant fare. Forest Girls sometimes don't have a taste for real food." The woman purred at Kyera with a rather wide smirk. The hairs on the back of Kyera's neck stood on end at this woman's taunt, but a smile never left her lips.
