A ship in the style of a keying tore through the void and appears above a lake that was surrounded by dead tree. Standing on the bridge of the ship was a young with long black hair tied with only a piece of string. He was wearing a silver robe with black bracers on his wrist. As he stared outside with a thoughtful expression on his face. Another figured wearing a black robes with a hood and with a kirin mask over his face. He slowly kneel down as if an invisible pressure was forcing him down.
"My lord Keeper, we have arrived." said the man in a voice so cold that if any others had been there they would shiver.
"Oh, I knew I picked the right bearer to follow me. Not only is you combat ability astonishing but you ability to point out the obvious is perfect." said the other young man in a toned very thick in sarcasm. "Maybe we should change your title to something that suits this unique skill."
"How can I pick a title as glorious as Moon Spear Saint Lord." The bearer replied equaled. "Besides if I didn't keep you updated you would just lose interest and just shrug off this mission that the empress has given to us." He finally stood up and looked at Moon Spear. "Not only that but anything involving the door is a priority mission at the highest level that has the attention of every major territory and even the 12 high noble clans which your Han clan is apart of if I'm not mistaken."
"Ha, don't bring my family in to the equation. After all I'm consider an outcast, the only reason I'm valuable is because I managed to become a keeper under the age of 10,000. As well as me being on the verge of breaking through to saint emperor. Other then that they wouldn't care if I dropped dead. The most famous saying in any clan is family comes first, not the individual." The air seemed to boil as Moon Spear spoke these words. He finally turned and looked at the bearer with black eyes and pupils that seemed to hold the moon itself in them.
He continue studying the bearer as if he was trying to pierce the mask and see the person behind it.
"You know we have been fighting beside each other for the last 500 years and yet not once have I seen your face or know your true name. So, do you think its about time you tell me?'
Chuckling the Bearer looked at Moon spear. "Maybe if we fought another 500 years I would be happy to tell you. Unfortunately, we need to focus on the task ahead." He disappeared and reappeared outside the ship.
Moon Spear looked at him and sneered. 'You must think of me as the fool. I have an inkling for who you are. Now I just have to figure out what is the cards in your hand. Truthfully I can only hope its all my imagination though.' Turning back around Moon spear appeared of the bow of the ship and looked out at the land. Looking at the area that is complete devoid of life. He descended on top of the lake and spread his divine will encompassing the entire continent.
"We are completely alone." Frowned Moon Spear he continued looking around. "Who was it that was suppose to meet us here?"
"It is general Pang Yuan. You would be less of a headache if you actually listened to the empress more" sighed the Bearer as he rubbed his temples.
"Ha the empress thinks I have to jump because she says so." said Moon Spear clearly displeased. He continued looking around the land until he say a mountain that was half its original height. A thoughtful expression crept into his face. As he sensed the qi that came from that direction. He felt a cold darkness from it that would cause anyone to completely turn away from that direction.
"You laugh but the empress has you wrapped around her finger as if you were a ring. Both of you should just announce to the world that both of you are deeply in love and plan to marry soon." teased the Bearer.
"I-" before Moon Spear could say another word a serious expression appeared on his face. A beautiful white spear appeared in his right hand. When the light bounced off the spear head it made the light glistened of the head making it look like snow flakes were in the air. His eyes stared deeply in the direction of the mountain as he say a ship speeding toward them as if they devil himself was chasing them. It continued moving toward them until it was right on top of them before come to a sudden stop.
Moon Spear looked at the ship for a split second before he released his aura. It was so powerful that trees on the other side of the lake miles away were completely uprooted and the ground underneath his feat cracked. Even causing it to groan as if it had been trampled to near death by thousands of horses. "If you don't come down here now forgive me for not being merciful."
"Wait, wait Lord keeper!" as a man completely clad in a golden armor appeared. He descend rapidly an knelt. As Moon Spear looked at the man he began to study him more closely. The man's cultivation level was at the Rebirth Lord realm, a full real less then himself. The man had black hair with streaks of grey. One of his eyes were brown while the other one milky white displaying blindness. His appearance was so ordinary the if he was placed into a crowd he would blind in perfectly. The thing that stood out about him though was his commanding aura that seemed to draw people to him.
"Your late. Stand up." Said Moon Spear as he slowly retracted his aura and put away his spear. "So, who are you? Why are you late? I also don't believe that you were rushing in this direction because of that. So what was the rush? Also don't forget it was you who asked the empress to send us here. So I expect the absolute truth. Should I detect one lie, we will leave immediately and let you deal with whatever situation you have conjured up." Moon Spear said sternly.
"Forgive me for my tardiness. I am General Yuan Peng." said the Man as stood. " My tardiness is also the reason why I asked for you. We have found a pocket world that is a little over a 100,000 years old. Not only that but time there is skewed. One day its the same as out here, other days its half as slow. Just now however it was nearly 4 times faster then it is now. Due to that my sense of time is badly messed up."
"if I remember correctly general don't you and general Si Ning have a rotating schedule of every 50,000 years." said Moon Spear. When Yuan Peng looked into his eyes and saw that those white pupils held little regard for excuse. That Yuan Peng couldn't help but nod his head.
"That is correct, My lord. We do rotate. The only excuse that I can say is that the energy required to create this realm was so sutble that it slipped under our detection." said Yuan Peng nervously as he subconsciously took a step back. "We didn't even discover the pocket world until there was a massive explosion that was equivalent to 20 massive volcanoes." While he said this a stern look crept into his face as he seemed to suddenly acquire some new found courage. He finally took a step forward with his back straight and looked at Moon spear and said.
"Did my colleagues and I fail to spot it sooner? Yes! However, not everything in this world can be explained. Especially if the heavens are involved, If it want to create a pocket world who can stop it? Who can notice if it doesn't want to be notice." said Yuan Peng once again regaining that commanding aura that he had earlier.
Moon spear looked at for a minute before a smile began to appear. Nodding he turned around to look back at the mountain and pushed his divine sense out trying to enter into the pocket world. "General I shouldn't ever need to tell you that, no matter who you face that you should never back down. You were placed in charge of our forces by the empress herself. This alone allows you to stand head over heals above others. Now give the bearer and myself a minute to talk and go wait on the ship."
"Yes my lord." Said Yuan Peng as he quickly left where he was standing. Almost as if he had never been there.
"What are your thoughts on this whole situation Bearer?" as he looked at the man in the mask.
"To say this situation is unique would probably be an understatement. The dangers are many not only that but the opportunity is rare might be able to study the heaven's grade law of creation. Not only that but the earth grade law of time. Those are the opportunities that are present. The dangers however, are extremely danger. The pocket world is supposedly just forming so stability alone is a very big issue." said Bearer as he rested a hand on his chin. Moon spear was certain that if it wasn't for the mask on his face that he would have a deep and thoughtful expression on his face.
"its to good of a chance to pass this up. So lets get going."Said Moon Spear as flew toward the generals ship. As he flew toward the ship at a constant speed he suddenly slowed down and looked back at the mountain. As a slow smiled started appearing on his smile. "Show me your secrets."
