As such, Foo started to build a virtual game world in his mind. Although he was uncertain on some things, like how exactly the system got that crappy excuse of magic to work, he left urgings to the system to patch it when delivered.
If the system knew what was best for it, it would certainly help out.
Constructing a game was easy for someone as Foo. However, keeping it simple was more of a challenge. The `You Ain't Gonna Need It` principle never worked well for Foo. He always ended up adding everything you need, and basically everything else too...
After getting lost in building for a while, he suddenly remembered that it was a training program, not an entertainment game. As such he increased the difficulty a bit more, and removed the pain reduction.
Although it might have sounded like a long time had passed, barely some seconds went by. By using his experience, Foo could quickly make a complex game from nothing. And the quality of the details would even stun the so called experts from his old world.
When done, he prepared to commence the training. The students were still looking at him with expectant gazes. And even his subordinates were quizzically looking at him, wondering what he would do next.
Motioning for the subordinates to join the students, Foo then projected the elaborate game that he had constructed as an illusion to the brains of each and every student.
After the deed was done, he expectantly watched for any reaction.
To his joy, their focus turned distant. A sign that their trance like state had begun.
The fact that it seemed to work even held his spirits up in the face of the message that appeared.

Congratulations!
Your comprehension and utilization of illusions have awed the heavens!
The attention to details and the precision of the illusion, coupled with the perfect integration with the world, is way beyond anything that have previously appeared in the world!
The skill ❰Illusionism- Mastered❱ gained!

❰Illusionism- Mastered❱
The art of projecting an alternate reality.
Note: Use that diligence and attention for details for something more productive than games!

Although the system seemed to chide him for wasting his time on games, Foo was not going to be depressed. First of all, his plan was working! Secondly, games could be useful, as shown multiple times in this world.
As this was the first training session, Foo planned for it to only stretch over an hour or so. That would give the students a couple of months inside the virtual world.
No matter how much of trash they were, some months of intensive training would surely be able to make anyone decently strong.
As he had some time to kill, Foo now wondered why he had not seen the siblings nor the old man. They was most certainly residents of the third section, and should thus have received the announcement.
Well, Foo was not that sure where the old man lived, so his lack of presence might be understandable. But the siblings certainly lived there. He had even visited their house.
As it was not much to do there anyway, Foo made his way to the house of the siblings. During the walk, his clothes started to dry in the warmth of the sun.
After a while, he noticed that he had no idea where he was. It was not that he was lost, just that the layout of this section was badly made. He had quite good memory after all, so how could he have forgotten the route he took? It must have changed!
There was this odd thing where Foo's brain easily was distracted when he was walking around. The result was that he might end up... a bit away from his intended destination.
And when the layout was as bad as this, that caused problems. It was definitely the layout's fault. And the surroundings were so boring, just ruins everywhere.
And there were no one to ask for directions, as all of them were gathered in the field, currently undergoing hellish training.
Annoyed at the incompetence of the designers of the section, he looked around for clues. But there were no handy signs pointing out the important locations.
Just to be sure, he looked one more time for any sign of some kind of signs. He would not want to be mistaken for a retard again...
