Faruth made a mental note to confront Wulfarth and Rose on their clearly incorrect data after the battle had ended. Thought there was probably less than 300, it was still much higher than 30 or 40 that had been predicted, probably sitting closer to about 120. Thought they were outnumbered more than 10:1, Faruth still held confidence in their victory. After all, the Lizardmen were only now beginning to fight back after they had killed 20 or so of them, weakening their numbers to even out the odds even if only slightly.
On top of that, the Lizardmen individually had lesser Stats in comparison to the Goblins that Faruth had easily killed when first finding the cave, meaning that now, with his greatly enhanced strength, it was almost as if they weren't even there. Although the same couldn't exactly be said for the other three, they still managed to cut through them, even though Faruth didn't know what would happen as they grew tired
After about 30 or so had been killed, Wulfarth led Marth and Alice to assault the group from behind. They had enough trouble dealing with the vanguard, so they placed very little attention to what was happening behind them, giving the trio free reign to cut down their ranks with ease. Both Alice and Wulfarth saw their new skills come into play, Alice searing the enemy as she used [Burning Claw], with Wulfarth controlling her from behind, shooting a [Magic Missile] into their ranks every now and again.
Marth, on the other hand, didn't dive directly into his opponent's midst, instead, he carefully circled around them, striking out with his spear at every opening and retreating when they got too close. Unlike the vanguard that had been, quite literally, tearing their enemies to shreds for about 10 minutes, Marth killed with more precision and finesse than even Faruth.
To go with it, he didn't have a single scratch on his body. In comparison, Alneth had several down his arms where fragments of bone had erupted from his foes and lodged themselves into his fur. Rath and Drath, despite utilising their [Telepathy] skill, suffered several short wounds from a Lizardman slipping between the others and striking them, they were, of course, swiftly killed by the two's hammers just afterwards however.
Out of all the members of the vanguard, Faruth had received the heaviest wounds though he seemed to be the one that was the least affected by them. He had a small wound in his lower arm where one of the Lizardmen had attempted to hack down on his arm with what he thought to be an adze. Only to have it barely break his skin and smash against his muscle, to which the wielder was killed just a second after. He also had similar wounds where he had been struck with spears, sticks and axes, only to have the exact same effect on him. The blood only drove him more wild as his rational side was lost and his more animalistic side began to seep out.
After a few more minutes of killing, the Lizardmen further above him began to part, only to reveal a much larger Lizardman where they once stood. The Lizardman stood at about 20 centimetres taller than the rest and, similarly to the now deceased Fulbash, had a horn in the centre of his head, though this one seemed to be much sharper and was dark red in colour.
["I see you, vile Gnoll scum. Bow, for you are in the presence of the great Jedpol!"] {Jedpol}
Faruth couldn't hear the words of the boss Lizardman, and instead, continued to kill the enemies in front of him.
["You bastard! I have bothered to greet you and you don't even beg for forgiveness?!! I challenge you to a duel!"] {Jedpol}
At this declaration, the Lizardmen in front of Faruth began to split, causing him to snap out of his frenzy. He looked at the approaching Lizardman with [Appraisal] and readied his sword in his hand, it was going to be a tough fight...
["I am one of the 15 great generals under Lord Lumwing, Jedpol, state your name peasant!"] {Jedpol}
["Faruth"] {Faruth}
["So, 'Faruth' I give you one last chance to beg for forgiveness, you will, of course, become another one of those disgusting slaves over there, but it's better than dying no?"] {Jedpol}
Faruth only let out a sigh of boredom before continuing.
["Dying to you, yes. But I don't plan on dying at all."] {Faruth}
At this, Faruth burst forward towards his opponent and used [Beast Strike], the new skill that he had gained from evolving into a Kobold. His sword disappeared from his hand and his claws grew to nearly 4 centimetres in length. Though his range was clearly shorter, the power held in that hand could be felt by those watching the duel, metres away. To add insult to injury, Faruth also utilised his aura, increasing the power of his attack by 5% and letting out a dominating aura.
Jedpol raised his spear in order to block and...

Had the claw pierce directly through his head, killing him instantly. In truth, Faruth wasn't worried at all. After using [Appraisal] he discovered that this Jedpol had considerably lower Stats than Marth, placing him roughly at the level of the Goblin leader that Faruth killed when first discovering the cave. He didn't know who this 'Lumwing' was, but if all of his 'Great Generals' were like this, he would be easy pickings for the village.
At the death of their leader, the Lizardmen lost all hope of winning the fight, either dropping to their knees and surrendering or letting go of their weapons and fleeing, either way, Faruth wouldn't let any of them escape alive.

Roughly half an hour later, Faruth and his elites had cleared up the remaining Lizardmen. One or two may have fled, but he doubted that they would get very far in the beast filled forest by themselves. After gathering his troops to the centre of the village, he announced that they had won the fight with no casualties and only a few injuries. The only ones worth mentioning were the bone fragments stuck in Alneth's arm and the wounds that the three soldiers had sustained during the clean up of the Lizardmen. Rath had suffered a gash on his abdomen caused by tripping over a pitfall that he could only assume was an animal trap and landing on the wooden spears below. Faruth had used one of his bandages on him, leaving him with only three remaining and gave him to Grimanth to see if he could do anything.
Marth had broken his hand stumbling during an ambush by the remaining Lizardmen, only to have Drath arrive and kill the enemies in his stead, suffering only a broken hammer in the process. The soldiers had suffered a few wounds, Faruth included, but overall, the assault was an overwhelming success!
