Lie Wei Ying walked out into the snow-covered field and found a small man waiting for him.
He was wearing a brown top hat and had on a green vest with bespectacled frames covering his nose. Of course, if Lie Wei Ying had time to ask anyone, if he wasn't pulled away, they'd say this was the village chief.
"Come on… I don't have all day… You were chosen, and now you got to come with me…"
Lie Wei Ying looked down at the small green arm pulling him, and felt a strange softness. Regardless, the man looked back at him.
"Well, if you can fly… that's good… If you can't, I'm going to drag you to the dragon… Please be warned, he's stronger than all of us, and if he doesn't like you he'll eat you…"
Lie Wei Ying nodded his head and floated off the ground. "As long as he isn't an omnigod, I should at least be able to survive."
The village head rolled his eyes and also started flying. Behind his back was a saint mark, and Lie Wei Ying had never chosen his. This was in fact a path known as the third path. It was one of neither the warrior, or the king.
When he reached the saint immortal stage, he'd been able to choose that mark, but also by not choosing the mark he could promote. The man, however, had seemed to chosen the path of the king. He was the village leader, and the strongest man in this township. He started speeding up to test the new recruit's limits.
Usually, when he got close to the speed of light, the people behind him would puke and ask to return. However, would Lie Wei Ying have trouble with this speed? Considering he could go 100 times 1000 times the speed of light, no way.
"Heh… are you done…" The village head turned back and Lie Wei Ying shook his head.
"Sorry, but I don't have any trouble with this speed. In fact, if you want to I could speed this up?"
The village leader held up his hands as if admitting defeat. "I had no idea I was guiding someone so powerful, young king…. The hidden peak summit is right below us, and is in the midst of those 1000 mountains. The dragon should greet you there… and if you can beat him you shall win access to the port for the multiplayer system."
Lie Wei Ying nodded his head in acknowledgement.
"However… he's quite strong, at least one hundred times faster then me…"
"You don't have to worry about me, but thanks for the help," Lie Wei Ying tossed away another pearl causing the old man to smile.
"Thank you for the recompense sire!"
People around here treated those with power extremely kindly, and those without it harshly. Hence, Lie Wei Ying figured he should also follow the rules of the Second Realm. One such rule was when you have money share it.
He was quite rich thanks to his system and Future self. That pearl was the cheapest thing in his system and only cost him one point.
….
Lie Wei Ying arrived down in the center of the mountains.
It was actually full of different types of wild life, and the fawn and fauna were both seemingly alive and moving. He'd never seen grass run past him, nor had he seen a rabbit fighting a cactus, but he wasn't the type to analyze.
All around him was a stone field and in front of him was a humongous cave. If the dragon wasn't here, then he had no idea where else it could be.
At this point in time, he was developing something called an all sense, which could see all things around him. This was something that developed from the diamond-ice training, and it was both useful and hard to train.
For instance, he could vaguely sense a presence in front of him, and without knowing why, he moved to the left. It was almost as if he was trying to dodge nothing, and when he did move the mountain behind him seemed to have transformed.
A dragon appeared there with its wings unfurled.
"RAWWWWWRRRR!"
Lie Wei Ying activated his transcendent domain and then fueled it with defiance. A hundred million different red versions of himself seemed to turn real.
The dragon could only growl and wonder how this man sensed him. Be that as it may, his job was to test worthy people from the third realm. He was a bit shocked someone in the second realm had dodged his teeth.
"You… you already have the all sense…. But that doesn't mean I'll accept you… In fact, you're not even supposed to exist I can tell." The dragon crawled out from the rocks and stood erect like a mountain with wings.
His claws seemed to be able to tear asunder the clouds, and his every step shocked Lie Wei Ying.
"Well, some people defy Fate, and other happen to be on his string? Which type are you?" Lie Wei Ying withdrew the inferno before his thousands of clones transported all around the dragon. It's black-steel pricks on its skin looked like tiny boulders and it could easily appear to be made of rock.
"Ah… I'm more of the type that kills who ever enters my territory. However, since you came with the village man, I'll give you a chance to play the game for my team." The dragon picked up an object and dropped it in front of Lie Wei Ying.
"…You mean that's it?"
"Well… I'm actually not fond of Fate, so consider me your ally… The war is going to start soon, and I'd prefer to have a side."
The dragon had a few different bodies traveling the realms, and his strongest was in the third realm. In the third realm, he was an omnigod. In one of his circles, Lie Wei Ying's name had come up. They talked about his might and his skill as well. If his real body was here, perhaps he'd fight this boy. However, he'd rather not challenge him in this form. Hence, he chose the path of least resistance.
"Alright, either that or you just want to live… Whatever, I'll join your team…"
The dragon smiled and pointed to the console.
"Congratulations, you're now on team Alpha 10. You'll be under the Hawk Lord…. Have a good time…"
"Sure... Don't you explain anything to your teammates? I mean... Wouldn't it be better if I knew?"
The dragon shook its large head and gracefully and carefully pointed towards the console.
"If I told you anything at all, that would be considered cheating... However, your teammates will tell you all about it when you go inside... Please, when you're ready, walk inside the portal."
